WhiteTim
would this count as an official 'album' for green day? meaning with their contract with warner etc. No
Karl Karlson
and these are other songs I heard about that may or may not exist, and/or were for other things: Wonderful Olivia Alright Away My Heart (probably not real) F You (probably not real) Take (probably not real) Someone put "Take Away My Heart" and "F*** You" under 'Bonus tracks' on the Wikipedia page for "Tré" EDIT: but these were/are not real; someone created the titles

Sanity Loan
Is Demolicious going to be what they release the 18 unreleased Trilogy songs on or is this two different releases? Also, here's my list of songs cut from the trilogy:State of ShockDreamcatcherOh GirlGabriellaRuby MaeHotfoot JamboreeHello FirecrackerJezebellSoda Pop CurtisI do believe Jezebell is "Troublemaker" and Soda Pop Curtis is something... can't remember which. I could be wrong.I doubt Gariella will get a release since one of its verses is the bridge/interlude to "Amanda."

WhiteTim
don't get it.. a double LP for only 18 tracks AI is double LP for 13 songs...
Sanity Loan
Sodapop Curtis = Last Gang in Town = Rusty James That's what I was thinking but then I just assumed it was originally "Last Gang in Town" form the beginning. Thanks for proving I'm not crazy AI is double LP for 13 songs... And it's about as long as you could assume this album will be if you average out all the songs to 3.5 minutes each, with 18 songs, that's 63 minutes. Being it an analog medium, there's a whole science behind how much music you can fit onto a side. Depends on groove width, quality, etc.
alienlifeform
AI is double LP for 13 songs... I Know that are GD cds that are double LPS but, saying it once, AI and 21st century are records with a bigger lenght songs than trilogy ones trilogy songs are 3 minutes the most

AlissaGoesRAWR
Part of me is just so confused about the timing of this whole thing... Not complaining at all, but it's just so unexpected. Part of me is kind of viewing it as a "fuck you, the trilogy was spontaneous and these songs are good" type thing, to prove themselves. This format could really showcase the beauty of the raw songs, which were indisputably made less wonderful by the trilogy's production sound and crticized. And then part of me wonders if this random release was ironically planned all along, to fit in with that spontaneous attitude they tried so difficult to embody? Or maybe they were just like, "fuck it, why not, what do we have to lose at this point?" Since when this drops, everything trilogy related will be dead. Either way, I'm cautiously optimistic, and I honestly think I'll enjoy this more than the trilogy, since it was a bit too polished for me. The songs live are so much better. Hopefully this has a more live, stripped down feel to it. I doubt it will attract any more outside attention to the trilogy (which I doubt they're going for anyway), but at least it's a treat for the fans, for sure. Also, side note — I am so PISSED I don't have my 1997 Ford Taurus with a cassette tape player in it anymore. Of COURSE, you die the year I actually need you! bagelfeet
As a Trilogy lover I'm very excited to see what will be on this, definitely gonna buy it and not look it up on YouTube to spoil it, I'll need it all in one run. Seriously can't wait, and I seriously doubt that the unreleased song will be Dreamcatcher. I think it'll just be a completely new and unheard of song. If it is, it'll be awesome. Beatlesdude
Am I the only who's still fuckin' psyched for this? I adore the trilogy. Seriously. Doesnt get better than this. Nope, I loved UDT.

Slice
Wow, this thread slowed down like alot since we found out that all the track will be trilogy. Personally, I'm quite excited to see the songs in their raw and unpolished state. Like the podcast said, there will most likely be alot of changes to the songs since those demos otherwise there is no point in releasing the demos. Think back to Cuatro and that Kill The DJ demo. That was fucking awesome. Imagine that but times 17. Sounds so raw. I'm surprised people haven't really mentioned the KTD demo. The full demo of that will probably be on there
ollhjr
Since last night I have also been thinking about. I'm so sorry about that. Somebody with much more talent should be able to superimpose Billie's head onto Fergie's body and make it the album cover. Other random thought. I know this won't happen, but I could only wish Minnesota Girl. Even if the dudes on the podcast said otherwise. #blessed

Todd
Why didn't they just release it as Cinco? And this album will have to have the original demo of Amy. It's one of my least favorite trilogy songs, but it sounded amazing live, and they talked about that demo a few times in the 2012 interviews. I'm really hoping it includes this
