I'm a bit confused because 2 sources said 2 different things, one said it's going to be 17 songs that are demos from all the years, and then ONE trilogy song that was unreleased. And then one said that it's going to be ALL of the songs demos from the trilogy. What one is it?

I can list 100 better lines he's written. Shall I?

ok, maybe not best but one of my favourite lines. The chorus of Panic song is up there too.

I'd believe what Green Day's twitter/facebook says. That comes straight from the horses mouth.

Did I read correctly, and see mention of cassettes? This is going to be interesting.

The only downside is...availability. Does anyone think this will be a limited release? Considering the implications and idea of it being on Record Store Day, I doubt there will be an en masse release as it's restricted down to physical media, but vinyls sounds nice. I'd probably buy that over the CDs if I'm honest, but the availability is what I'm curious of.

Its 18 tracks of demos from the trilogy sessions with 1 unreleased song so thatd be 17 songs of trilogy demos and 1 new track

Knowing what Green Day can be like sometimes, the Trilogy rejects will probably be better than the actual songs on there!

Just finished an episode of Static Noise where we exclusively talk about Demolicious. Should be up here on GDC within a an hour or two :)

Good for you.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this LP will have a more raw sound than Rob Cavallo could produce on his best day now.

There is so much wrong with your list

Leave those things to me dude. Hard Times is a Trilogy song, it's Clusterbomb, not Clusterhand, and Clusterbomb is Letterbomb anyways. Jezebel is Troublemaker.

I think everyone os overreacting. Demos, not unreleased songs. I personally don't expect new songs, but hey, it's possible.

Reprise are the label that would put this together, not Adeline. However, it wouldn't surprise me if Adeline were one of the sellers....

That list is pretty possible, there's a few mistakes but still possible if they hadn't said it was just the Trilogy.

Also Green Day have said themselves there will be one new song on it.

"Hard Times", "Wasteaway", "Sleepyhead" & "Clusterhand" are from the Warning sessions (at least)

So based on what we saw in Cuatro, do you guys think most of the demos will be Billie Joe solo things? I'm thinking about that scene where he's alone in a home studio recording bass and drums and all that. Like maybe a lot of the demo tracks will be Billie's original attempts, and some might be rough drafts with the whole band, depending on the developmental history of each particular song.

Am I the only who's still fuckin' psyched for this? I adore the trilogy. Seriously. Doesnt get better than this.

I have my doubts but I really hope some of it is. I'd love to hear some songs in the original form before he took it to the band.

Is Demolicious going to be what they release the 18 unreleased Trilogy songs on or is this two different releases? Also, here's my list of songs cut from the trilogy:

  1. State of Shock
  2. Dreamcatcher
  3. Oh Girl
  4. Gabriella
  5. Ruby Mae
  6. Hotfoot Jamboree
  7. Hello Firecracker
  8. Jezebell
  9. Soda Pop Curtis

and these are other songs I heard about that may or may not exist, and/or were for other things:

  1. Wonderful
  2. Olivia
  3. Alright
  4. Away My Heart (probably not real)
  5. F You (probably not real)
  6. Take (probably not real)
