If this is what it sounds like and what we've said, does anyone think we'll get maybe 1 completely brand new song? Like with Haha You're Dead and Maria/Poprocks and Coke on International Superhits and Shenanigans? That'd be amazing!

There's no way in a million years Don't Look Away isn't that awful last song on Tre.

In an interview (I think around Billie's rehab interview?) Mike said that they would be emptying the cupboard or something like that, meaning they'd be releasing their unreleased material soon. This is probably it.

Source please

It was the name of a special feature on cuatro, it's an instrumental that sounds damn close to Walkin the Dog (Aerosmith cover on Dookie demos)

  • Oh Girl

This. One of the most beautiful acoustic songs green day have ever done. Drama Queen is nowhere near as good as Oh girl.

Well, I think they gonne take a break for a long time. Like as between AI and 21C. They release the songs they have lying around. Which means they not gonne use these anymore on a next album. They start with norting over a couple of years i think.

Maybe we could get songs from 1039 SOSH era Such as World Vs World, You Cant Fool me.

Maybe some from those phone demos such as What about today, things I heard today and Minnesota Girl

:runaround: I'm so excited!! So excited that I just logged into GDC for the first time in many months so I could tell everyone. (Ugh I've been so busy the last year. But I've been lurking and I miss posting in here!)

So if this is 2 LPs of demos, I really hope we get a lot of the songs we've been hearing about for a while now. Oh Girl, Olivia, Dreamcatcher, Hello Firecracker, State Of Shock, some original versions of the trilogy songs - with extra lyrics (like in Wild One) and full separate songs like for Dirty Rotten Bastards. And then Wonderful and the original Drama Queen, any American Idiot leftovers and demos, the lost Cigarettes & Valentines songs….. I'm not sure if we'll be getting stuff older than that, since Shenanigans…. But it's totally possible.

Also, since Shenanigans had mostly just b-sides that had already been released on singles, Demolicious might have some previously released stuff - Hearts Collide, Too Much Too Soon, etc.

I'm just really hoping we can hear some (all) of those unreleased songs.

I'm totally ready to go to every record store in the state until I find this.

Just because its 2 vinyls doesnt mean it's a double disc album look at AI and 21st they were 2 vinyl sets but on cd they werent 2 cds... could be the songs on Demolicious cant fit onto one vinyl...

Also alot of yall are naming b sides and outtakes if we are to go by the title these are just demos which could mean studio demos or rehearsal demos home demos I bet we get alot of demos to songs already released with maybe few unheard ones just my thought

Well that thought is exciting because the last time they started with nothing they produced American Idiot :)

At the shows, before the album came out, "Miss Judgement Day" was its own song.

At the shows?

Hoping for Kill the DJ demo. That shit sounded so much better! But their demos are always better than the produced ones

I doesn't sound much different imo.

I'd kill for dirty rotten bastards with AI's guitar sound

Try this. :)

Someone on tumblr said it's gonna be a two-album thing and I'm too lazy to read this whole thread. Is that true?

Not two-album, two records.

It was the name of a special feature on cuatro, it's an instrumental that sounds damn close to Walkin the Dog (Aerosmith cover on Dookie demos)

Actually, we've never heard Life's So Plain (though I'd love to). The one you're talking about was given no name but is usually referred to as That Just Happened.

Just because its 2 vinyls doesnt mean it's a double disc album look at AI and 21st they were 2 vinyl sets but on cd they werent 2 cds... could be the songs on Demolicious cant fit onto one vinyl...

Very good point.
