I actually really like the name as well, it's catchy and rolls off the tongue, very simple too. Reminds me of the simple names like Kerplunk, Dookie, Insomniac. etc.

Hoping for Kill the DJ demo. That shit sounded so much better! But their demos are always better than the produced ones

There is a kill the Dj demo????

You can hear it being played near the beginning of Cuatro, it sounds way more out there and different than the studio version.

A cover of Husker Du, and I'm pretty sure they've done something else. But that was the only one Jack (gda news editor) remembered when i asked.

They put out Know Your Enemy 7" too in 2009.

Isn't that just from a live recording

The concept even got hubby excited when I told him about it. Him not being nearly as big a fan but still excited to see what they'll give us.

Nope, its a studio demo

Oh cool, I really hope that is on there, even though I really like the version we already have.

So is this basically another Shenanigans?

Here's to hoping! I don't think we really know what it is yet. That's why it's so exciting!

Someone on tumblr said it's gonna be a two-album thing and I'm too lazy to read this whole thread. Is that true?

That is what has been reported so far.

I wonder how deep they're delving into the demo catalogue for this. A double album gives me hope. I've always wanted to hear their cover of Alison they recorded for Nimrod.

Obviously this is just speculation because we know nothing, but I doubt it'll be all unreleased B-sides. Maybe a mix of never-heard stuff and demo versions of existing songs.

Well, wait, were most of the Shenanigans songs previously available as B-sides, and they were just put together in one CD as a compilation? Or were some of them brand new?

Could be for all we know XD All we know is it's name, none of it has been confirmed though. Its a two disc thing apparently, probably with some unheard material on :)

Yes, all of them. But "Ha Ha You're Dead" was especially recorded for the compilation.
