Montclare
I love Pinhead Gunpowder, but it did take awhile for me to appreciate them. I think the 2010 dress show is my most rewatched GD related show. Favorites are everything off the 2008 ep and Second Street. ETA also Landlords, Life During Wartime, At Your Funeral, and MPLS Song.

The only people who can honestly say they like it are the sentimental fools who love the 90s. RevRad is better than American Idiot. Nightlife is a good song, it's just that damn filter on Billie's voice that makes it unbearable. Dookie is overrated. Christian's Inferno is one of the worst GD songs. Homecoming isn't that good of a song, and it's overhyped. I'm sorry for bringing this up after nearly 2 years and it looks like this user isn't active anymore, but it's funny I read this right when Homecoming came on my shuffle. Slave To The Network
Only thing I agree with on that old comment is that Dookie is overrated. I think Insomniac is waaaaay better.
Popular Post solongfromthestars
I love Christian's Inferno, but hating it isn't an unpopular opinion. This live performance was amazing 5
Popular Post Miko
¡Dos! Is still their best album from start to finish. It doesn't contain their best songs, but it's a banger after banger with easiest story to follow through and every song can be played without playing other album songs (except See You Tonight, which is still the best intro to album that is all about sex, drugs and rock and roll). 4 1 1

I agree. It’s an underrated album for sure. Very fun to listen to and it sticks to the theme the best out of the trilogy. I like to see it as a sequel to Stop, Drop & Roll. 3
Christian's Inferno!
The only PHGP songs I like are the ones that just sound like Green Day songs. Life During Wartime, West Side Highway, Anniversary Song, New Blood, 27 Christian's Inferno is very very overhated. Obviously not a top tier Green Day song but still a very enjoyable track
龑美優
The real unpopular opinion is to love Christian's Inferno. I'm not sure why people like to pretend their popular opinions are unpopular.

Beerjeezus
My pettiest unpopular Green Day opinion is that it irks me that Billie gets a feminist icon reputation online for the dropkick… He probably got drunk and fought some guy and someone made up the story that it was to protect a girl from being assaulted and obviously it’s cool, he gets positive attention for it so that’s good, but I just don’t believe it’s true. I think he was just drunk and angry and took it out on some dude.

You are probably right but there is plenty of footage of him stopping playing to call out/remove fans who are behaving like assholes at other shows.

I can appreciate a good urban legend and if this is one, it caught on because a lot of people found it believable that he’d do it. That’s good reputation.
mao
"EILISH: Hey, I don’t even know how to ask this, but what gave you the urge to, like, moon the audience, or kick people in the head and stuff? ARMSTRONG: Oh, Jesus, kicking people in the head? Did I kick somebody in the head? EILISH: There’s a video that’s the hardest shit I’ve ever seen. There was somebody in the crowd doing something, and you just jump on the person in the crowd. That was the hardest, most gangster shit. Like, what made you be so dope? ARMSTRONG: I think someone was getting kind of aggro, and then we started having a back-and-forth yelling at each other. And then I was literally fighting with someone in the crowd. I wouldn’t recommend it. Please don’t do it." Musicians on Musicians: Billie Joe Armstrong & Billie Eilish Billie himself seems to remember it this way.

It’s not a hit; it’s “All by Myself,” the acoustic hidden track on 1994’s Dookie. “Oh, that’s Tré Cool!” says Armstrong, clarifying that the band’s drummer sings the song. “I know it is!” says Eilish. Adds Armstrong, “That’s a dirty little song.”" Slightly off topic, but is his attitude in this part of the song a consideration for Billie Eilish, who apparently doesn't know the background of the song or the meaning of the lyrics? In other words, as a feminist, did he show his condemnation of the content of that song?

It would surprise anyone, but all the more so Billie who wrote almost every other Green Day song and probably expected to get praise for i don’t know Jesus Of Suburbia or Basket Case or any other actually good song 4
