Really, I never would have guessed you were a Celine Dion fan

I guess I should check her out if her music is like Insomniac I'm sure I'll have fun

I hope the rumour about them going indie pans out because I think it would mean they'd swap from big arena shows where they play the hits for the masses and focus more on their established fans, I'd be happy to drop all of RevRad except maybe Bang Bang and bring in more old stuff we rarely hear.

Just imagine seeing them in a mid-sized venue, all the lights go out, and then blasting through the darkness like a punch in the gut is the opening bass note of Panic Song.

This is all I want.

I feel like he has it backwards though. In the song he's saying everybody's talking and won't shut up BECAUSE he's tired. Surely he means he's tired BECAUSE everybody won't shut up, right?

For me too "cause I'm so tired" is part of the phrase and the verse but I think it makes sense if you hear it like: I want everybody to shut the fuck up because I'm so tired. Like, he wouldn't note that everyone keeps talking unless he wants them to shut up because he's so tired. So he's not tired because of them, but as he's tired he doesn't want to hear them :P

The only songs I’d like them to have on future set lists are Still Breathing and Ordinary World.

With that being said though, I realize that Still Breathing is too difficult for Billie and Ordinary World got sacked halfway through last tour, making it likely it won’t come back

I loved Ordinary World live. Still Breathing, too difficult? Man, it's how he pulls on his voice to sing it that makes the song beautiful. I think he really nailed it, hearing live performances of it is like my favorite hearing of his voice. I would want them in prior to keep it from the previous tour as well as Forever Now.

As for other Rev Rad songs, I'd prefer the song Revolution Radio over Bang Bang (perhaps that's unpopular), but as it's the name title, it's unlikely that they'd keep it for the next tour.

I also think Know Your Enemy is a better opener than Bang Bang, and that the opening riff to Bang Bang flows better from KYE than if it were the very first thing you hear. While the drums at the beginning of KYE do a great effect right after the boys arrive on stage. I enjoy KYE without being crazy about it, but to know that it sends back to Restless Heart Syndrome in 21CB makes it better. Random thought, to me, the "know your enemy" first presented from the social/political ground in KYE and then from the personal side in RHS where Billie states that it lies there in real, reminds me of in Forever Now when he speaks of wanting to start a revolution and hearing it on his radio so as to postpone the personal stuff (I'll put it off another day). It's like, at first you try to seek your problem outside, to finally come back inside, it's a bit the same theme to me there

You are lucky.

I loved my show. It was fantastic. I don’t really care what the set list is because I’m not a serial concert goer. I just consider myself lucky to have seen them live (‘05 & ‘17).

Wait, didn't everyone get both JOS and FN? In the seven shows I went to, we always got both. I'm also way too biased because my favourite song is JOS. Well, my favourite that's even likely to make setlists these days.

I think @Verycool99 was saying they got scattered and armitage at their show in addition to JOS & FN. I’m fairly certain everyone got JOS & FN.

I was lucky enough to see Forever Now in Green Bay and Chicago and both times were epic. I think it was the last song they played before the encore, I remember thinking "well that was amazing, i could leave now and be satisfied" (of course I didn't though).

Yeah I got JOS like two songs after Forever Now. Couldn't help but notice JOS wasn't nearly as good after it :P

KFAD still rules, and also has already been scaled back so it doesn't last as long. Most amusing and entertaining part of the show, the sax/kazoo battle was epic. Another couple of nondescript old songs knocked out straightforwardly instead when there's already plenty of that elsewhere on the setlist? No thanks. How about replacing some of the 7 or so apiece Dookie or AI songs first?

Alright, proposal. Bump off BOBD, When I Come Around, and Are We The Waiting/St Jimmy.

i feel like Minority, Letterbomb, Jesus of Suburbia, KFAD, and Hitchin a Ride take up half the show, so either they shorten those or im gonna have to start proposing cuts to those too

The KFAD medley was ok, but I think it should go. Sorry not sorry.

I don't dislike either KYE or 21 Guns, but I'm hoping that something else from 21st CB gets an outing during the next tour.

They played Armatage Shanks when I saw them at Leeds after Billie asked fans what they wanted to hear. I'm not aware of how often he asks fans what they want to hear, but it's a great way of getting an older song on the setlist since fans are most likely to shout out names of older songs.

So there is also a convo about set lists going on on the random thoughts thread, could we maybe have one thread for this and keep it there?
