When they played 21 Guns before, he didn't try to hit the note. He could just continue to do it how he always did

At the end of the last tour they added 21 guns, an acoustic version. It was great live

I get why Green Day's setlist is the way it is, but I will always be critical of it. I'm sorry I just want to hear different songs, especially since they have such an extensive catalog.I get they can't please everyone, but I wish they would take more chances with the setlist and realize that while some people may not recognize a deep cut, there are going to be a lot of people in the crowd who are going to love the shit out of it. Regardless, every time I see them it's a great time and they put on an amazing show. I just hope they would change it up every now and then.

They really should follow Metallica’s lead, they’ve never played the same setlist twice in the last decade (?) since setlist.fm and other websites have existed

I would love for Bang Bang to be the opener for this next tour. It better stay in the setlist.

Agreed that it should stay in the setlist, but the opener should be a song from the album in my opinion, whichever one is best suited to be a killer opening track. RevRad had a few decent ones, they shouldn’t ever have gone with KYE.

Yes Bang Bang can stay and Revolution Radio can leave.
Start the next tour with Bratwurst.

This is something The Cure does too. I saw them two nights in a row and the setlists were different. And while there were some repeats between the two nights, they were in different parts of the setlist so it didn't feel so repetitive. Honestly, The Cure made me scrutinize the setlist for all future bands I see live.

  • Know Your Enemy is a terrible opener (and song in general)

Pretty sure this is a popular opinion around here. :P

I really liked Know Your Enemy as the opener last tour, personally. It did the job at getting the crowd pumped before Bang Bang/ Revolution Radio.

Forever Now should stay as well. Billie's face while playing that song live is . The genuine happiness he expressed during it was amazing to witness.

Quite possibly their best live song

I’m ok for all of revrad to not make the setlist. Bang Bang was ok, I can’t remember revolution radio live which speaks volumes

The only songs I’d like them to have on future set lists are Still Breathing and Ordinary World.

With that being said though, I realize that Still Breathing is too difficult for Billie and Ordinary World got sacked halfway through last tour, making it likely it won’t come back

I really don’t want either of those to come back. Really the only one I want is Bang Bang.  The rest can give way to new stuff and songs they dropped last tour like Brain Stew.

The only acceptable song for them to play from Insomniac is Stuck with Me. The others can go away

I also want them to keep Forever Now. Most magnificent and emotional live performance I've seen from them, it beat Jesus of Suburbia hands down.

I’m fine with that if another long song goes away so they can fit two in it’s place.

Or RHCP's tour here - even though the concert was shit🤣

When I listen to FN it takes me straight back to the feeling of being at the concert.  (sorry random thought not unpopular).

Depends on which songs you prefer but I'll take quality over quantity. They already play a fair amount of older songs (most from Dookie granted, but still), and most of their older songs aren't that different to each other in terms of watching them live. I prefer for them to play songs that have something different about them or that they incorporate extra on stage stuff into instead of just playing lots of short/straightforward songs straight through. If it takes extra time and reduces the total number of songs played it doesn't matter to me.

It is actually right behind Celine Dion's Greatest Hits.
