It's not too fast, it's not too slow. It's perfect. I hate Extraordinary Girl and Homecoming tho. Can't see any reason why people likes those two. I don't think there's such thing as "too fast" or "too slow". I think any song of any speed can be good as long as it's done well. I love Homecoming, I don't understand why you'd hate it. I think it's actually better than Jesus of Suburbia. Extraordinary Girl, not one of AI's strongest moments but still a good track to me.
Shtrudel
Who's ever in charge of the mixing/mastering in the studio albums does a fantastic job at ruining the vocals. I always found the vocals weak in the studio albums compared to live performances, thought it was because of lazy delivery from Billie. But lately I've been listening to the isolated vocals tracks (which are unmixed iirc), and suddenly I noticed how he puts his all to the recording. Green Day are fault to edit the vocals too much. While it's been much more appearant since the 00's, this was the case in the 90's as well.
Jollyroger118
I have a hard time hearing Mike on most of their songs. Anyone else feel this way?

Oh, I thought @Jollyroger118 was saying he doesn't like hearing Mike singing in most of the songs where he does. My mistake Yes, I perfectly hear the drums. And as for the bass, I can hear it but it's true that I've sometimes heard it better on random live recordings than in the album version. I just think of this video, for example: When Billie sings "am I bleeding from the storm" I really noticed the bass, better than on the album version.

pouty bitch
21CB is pretty lackluster for me. There are only about 6 songs on it that I don't skip regularly. The other songs certainly aren't bad, they just don't do much for me personally. 1

In fact there's probably at least 10 songs from that album that I'd rank amongst the absolute best Green Day songs to date and none of the songs, even the "weaker" songs are ones that I'd skip. The songs that people deem bad or lackluster are songs that I think are too over-hated

Popular Post pouty bitch
Was watching some footage of RevRad shows on Youtube today, and it made me realise how much I want KFAD to stay in the setlist. For starters, it used to be my fave song ever (before Bang Bang overtook it), so I'd be severely upset to see the actual song itself go. And all of the shenanigans that go on with it are just irreplaceable. The whole thing is just so fascinating. The dressing up, Freese's sax solos/Billie's kazoo, Billie's speeches, having Tre sing and Billie play drums, the overall goofiness - pure entertainment. And is there really anything cuter than Billie rolling around on the floor during his speech/the medley. I can understand why people don't like it/are over it by now, and I wouldn't mind if GD cut the medley down in future, but I'd be absolutely devastated if they took the entire thing off the setlist before I got the chance to see my first GD show. 6 1

WhiteTim
I enjoyed the KFAD when I saw it for the first time at SxSW performance but I could see how one could get tired if they’re the type to go see 3-4 shows per tour however people gotta realize GD concerts escp the arena shows aren’t really set up for the hardcore fans for those you gotta catch a Green Day club show

I totally want them to change up the setlist, but it seems unlikely with arena shows. But they definitely took more chances and switched some things up for the club tour, which is why it's one of my favorite shows I attended.
