I totally disagree with this. I think it's the best song on RevRad by a long shot. Lyrically and musically, it's fantastic.

I agree it is fantastic.  IF you read, I did say that I love it.  I just think that most of the songs on Rev Rad are better than it.

Outlaws continues to grow on me with every listen. Found it to be the most boring on the entire album originally but the lyrics are great, love when it's gets to the I got no supervision line onwards, best part in the song right to the end.

I still find it boring and I skip it every single time. I agree that the lyrics are great though. I hope it ends up growing on me too, I'll try not to skip it

Is it unpopular to say Bang Bang in the future will be viewed as a classic GD song.

I friggin love this song.

It's utterly fantastic, the only RevRad song I like and I love it.

Though, saying that, related unpopular opinion - it works much better on its own. I've thought it's one of the best punk songs in recent years since it first came out and I still do, but on the album I found it underwhelming even though it's still the same thing, I think it's much more powerful as a standalone statement.

Least we know he can still write a song like bang bang. I like Revrad but it sits bottom third on my list.  I very happy that GD can still produce a solid album & I love tres drumming.  I was really trying to be unpopular but everyone agreed with me😜

I have an unpopular opinion.  As much as I love Bang Bang, I think it is one of the weaker tracks on Rev Rad.

Are you bored?

Yeah, if there's one thing I can say about the album it's that Tré is absolutely on fire throughout, the drumming's amazing.

Yeah, same. However, I attribute it to that fact that I've heard it many times before I got to the whole thing so it's more overplayed.

I still love it just as much as always when I hear it on its own though, the only time I don't love it is when it's in with the rest of the album.

Yep. I experience this too. I think it's because it stands out less that way and I'm usually more interested in hearing the rest of the album than the song I've heard a thousand times.

I also have that problem when listening to RevRad. Now, I also tend to skip Boulevard of Broken Dreams on a listen of AI and Know Your Enemy on 21CB because I've simply overplayed them and they are not my favorite tracks on the respective albums.

I feel the same about BOBD.

I skip American Idiot on AI. I've grown to really dislike that song.

That too. but I still think the end of AI and the beginning of JOS sound cool together.

Was just thinking yesterday about BOBD and that it is obviously an amazing song that has been overplayed by radio stations and what not but if it was never made a single or put on the radio and was only big amongst Green Day fans kind of the way a track like Whatsername is, we would all probably be asking, why the hell didn't they make this a single? It is such a great track it was overplayed right into the ground, especially with folks who don't follow the band. If it was more of a deep cut, I think we would all think of it so much differently. Just a thought, could be unpopular.

Going to Pasalacqua is the greatest Green Day song ever recorded. I don't know that I would even call it my favorite, but I still think it's the greatest. At the very least, it's untouchable.

The way I feel about Oh Love is very similar to the way I think most people here feel about Know Your Enemy.

This was the revelation I had yesterday.

Same. I don't mind Know Your Enemy (and kinda love it live, sorry not sorry), but Oh Love and I do not get along.

Oh Love took a while to grow on me, I thought it was average when I first heard it but I think it's pretty good now, I always liked Know Your Enemy though.
