There is.

Yes, but the men have to go to work that day so it's not really celebrated.  JK love ya.  Sorry that you have to bleed.

There you go, wrong again.  The proper order is

AI, Rev rad, 21cb, warning, dookie

After first 3 or 4 listens of Rev Rad I thought this will be in my top 4 albums - I think now it is more like in my bottom 4 albums.  I still like the album but its no Insomniac or Warning.:ermm:

I don't consider Jason to be a good guitarist at all. He often struggles to play his part without mistakes. Even though Billie pobably makes more mistakes, he's an overall better guitarist in my opinion.
I also don't like it when he plays the Pre-Warning songs, especially if it's something like 2,000 LYA, where only Mike and Tre keep the beat. It must be really akward for him to stand in the front line, staring at the massive audience and doing nothing. Then again, at least he's not that dude who stands behind an amp/monitor just for back vocals (can't remember his name, is it Jeff or something?).
I do like his attitude of being a private person unless he's asked to talk.

I don't even think that's an unpopular opinion  He does the job I guess, but he has absolutely no flair or style in his playing, not even basic vibrato.

Yes, I forgot to add that it probably isn't unpopular. Also forgot to mention that the second opinion is for elitists who want Green Day as a trio. Or these elitists are also the majority of their fanbase?

It's elitist to want GD as a trio?

But that's just...fact?

GD is a trio with an expanded live band of beautiful humans (especially the wonderful Mr. Freese who I love <3) The "official member" thing was ridiculously overthought by fans and honestly Billie explains the band's extended members perfectly in the latest Howard Stern interview so there's really no debate about it at this point.

Was about to say "Shots fired", but then I remembered that's the whole point of the topic.

See, this is exactly what I meant (with poor word choice, my bad), when I said "GD trio", I reffered to the trio performing on their own. But I also don't care too much that Jason plays with them the songs mentioned above, I just feel bad for him as he akwardly does nothing when only Mike and Tre keep the beat to let Billie interact with the audience.
(dat grammar tho)

I don't know if this is unpopular but I can't stand Jeff Matika and every time I see him I get  kind of angry

His role in the band is completely useless and he also seems like a huge asshole

I guess I am elitist then. Green Day has always been a trio to me, and always will be whether or not it's official :ermm:

By the number of posts I read placing 21CB in green day top 4, 5, or even as the best album, I guess it's pretty unpopular consider it my least favorite GD album?

I don't think 21CB is bad, but I happen to like every other album more. Yes, including 1039, Uno Dos and Tré, Insomniac (easily), Shenanigans...

Almost a month with Revrad with us, and listening at least twice a day few ideas:

- They got the sound right, but post production ruined all. Clipping all the way, unbearably loud, even vinyls went wrong.

- They need to hire a producer that is not Cavallo, he didn't do his job well in the trilogy, so better find another to give them fresh air and force them to make their stuff better.

- Lame ass solos

- Mostly lame lyrics

Results: worst album ever

Yeah I agree, he seems like a cool dude and I do like him! But his playing is not great, I always use to cringe at the 21 guns solo. I don't mind him not moving around much through. I am glad he's part of the show

And he play the solo in JAR wrong. There's still no performance that I prefer over the original recording, which is sad because they're always better live.

Billie is a much better guitarist than Jason.

Billie's playing has more expression. I mean, Jason's playing sounds less aggressive and that gives away more how simple the songs are. Billie sounds more powerful or almost angry, he's got to put a lot of strength into his playing while Jason plays like a nice, gentle guy who just so happens to be in a punk band.

I have to disagree because I think it is much more than that.  Billie is technically a better player.  Neither one is playing anything difficult.  We all know that the songs are fairly easy to play.  However, Billie is very tight where Jason is not.  Thus, I would think that Billie could handle something much more difficult if he chose, where Jason I don't think could.

I have always considered Green Day to be a trio and I still do. I wish just the three of them played live. I don't like all the extra people.
