if this song is that way, it is a great song cause you don't need Redbull everytime, sometime let Weed do the trick

I agree with you on WMUWSE.  I always skip it when it starts on my iPod.

Meh I usually skip those songs too. I like them, and I appreciate them, but it's been years and I just have little patience.

I agree with you on WMUWSE as well, except live.  He gets so emotional when he plays it live that I can't help going there with him.  My husband refers to it as the whiny man's song.  However, I think Last Night on Earth is one of the best ballads Billie has ever written.  It is beautifully written and relatable love song, without being sappy.

1. Boulevard of Broken Dreams will always be one of my favorites because I can relate to the lyrics like I can with Numb (Linkin Park). Even though it is overplayed, I love that song and I'll always consider it a classic.

2. I'm not really a fan of American Idiot. I liked 21st Century Breakdown more. I find songs like Restless Heart Syndrome and East Jesus Nowhere better than those on American Idiot.

I feel that same way about those 2 songs. I can relate to the lyrics so much. It's good to find someone else who can relate too.

I can't say that I think 21st CB is better than AI, but I definitely love it.  You are young, so you would not have been around, but AI came around just when the country needed something to fight for.  It was timely and totally relevant.  I feel that Billie's vocals on AI captured the sentiment of every song so perfectly, but technically, his vocals were his best ever (except for Foreverly) on 21 CB.   RHS is one of my favorites and EJN just captured the anit-religion sentiment so perfectly.

1. I just realised that liking bobd is unpopular .although i have sensed it before. for me,i only like it as a part of the story.Leaving home, feeling free then being left alone.I love that story.

2.Although i love story american idiot tells, i often find myself wondering if it's worth being the best album.I find melodies in 21st cb so much better.I love american idiot because of great lyrics ;Are we the waiting, letterbomb, jesus of suburbia .These lyrics are masterpiece. But musically i prefer 21st cb.

I completely agree with you. I appreciate AI and I like the lyrics a lot but I just can't help liking 21st CB more because of the music and vocals. The songs on 21st CB are directed more towards individuals than masses.
