Blasphemy & Genocide: Unpopular Green Day Opinions, Part 2

In Dry Ice I always thought that Billie says "She is the pain that's in dry ice" until I finally loomed up the lyrics one day. It makes a lot of sense actually

American Eulogy is SO good.

SO good.

I'll one-up you: American Eulogy is the only great song on 21CB. Hell, it's even the only very good song.

21cb is my favorite album, I know a lot of people don't like it... I can see why tho tbh. It kinda seems like they just tried to make another American idiot and failed haha.

See the Light?

I like See the Light.

But he did miss Last Night on Earth, Restless Heart Syndrome, Static Age and 21 Guns (yes I like it)

See The Light's nothing spectacular, but it's still good. Static Age is one of the most fun songs on the album, 21 Guns is a good arm-waving stadium song, RHS and Last Night On Earth are just good in general

There are good lines but stuff like "I got a really bad disease/its got me begging on my hands and knees" bug me so much for some reason :P I do like the Know Your Enemy lines, since it references an earlier song on the album and makes the album seem more connected, if that makes sense :3

21st Century Breakdown is definitely my favourite GD album. It's a lyrical masterpiece. The only song on it that I don't like that much is LOTAG, the lyrics are decent but musically it's kind of boring. I didn't like 21 Guns that much until I saw it live but I love it now. I also love the video, which I know was a very unpopular opinion around the time it came out

American Eulogy  live it's even better.

I would so love to see that again.

that's the only thing i really like about that song. it's like a journey trying to find out who your enemy is and then it turns out that you were your own worst enemy all along. genius.

I actually like most of the songs on 21CB, I was just pointing out the ones I think are the best

*jumps on the Misery love pile* I wish they'd do a whole album of that kind of thing, it's genius.

Misery is one of the best GD songs ever written but nothing is superior to JOS.

Not even Sweet 16? :ga:

There was uproar on here a few months ago when someone was adamant that Sweet 16 was better than JOS. I like it, but... no.
