Libertine Angel
Never had them before, ill take some! :3 Be careful, paprika Pringles are great but they can be addictive. If I wasn't sharing these around the thread I'd have probably finished the tube by now.

I'm not sure, but I've got to go now, so I'm afraid I can't stay for the party. I'll leave the Pringles though.
Anaïs.
It does my heart good to see this thread active again. Also, I'd love to see the guys work with Steve Albini.
Spike
Also, I'd love to see the guys work with Steve Albini. Yes! His work on Journal For Plague Lovers was brilliant, if the songs were suitable it'd be amazing. How about Mike Hedges? I'd like to see Green Day do something more along the lines of The Forgotten, but less half-assed. An epic string section would be fantastic.
WhiteTim
Albini is good as well gets the live sound but I dunno if they'd really gel well personality wise as Albini is very sexist and racist (or least he was in the 90's Bush's stories about him are just wow...) so dunno if GD would be happy or relaxed around him

AlissaGoesRAWR
Why does everyone like 21CB so much? The concept aspects of it are incredibly forced, it's about 5 songs too long, and it's overproduced, just in a different way than the trilogy was. I mean, clearly the band doesn't even like it... they didn't even touch it all weekend in Cleveland! Okay, so sure, I'd be up for hearing that. All I meant was, I don't want another album produced like 21CB. It was trying far, far too hard to be American Idiot Part 2. This is basically my issue. American Idiot was just a stroke of dumb luck, in my opinion, and then they tried to replicate it. You just can't do what American Idiot did twice, ESPECIALLY if you're trying to do it intentionally. It just doesn't work that way. You can't plan something that epic just for the sake of being epic. Although Nimrod, the trilogy and 21CB suggest they're finding it difficult to trim the fat, both Stop, Drop and Roll and American Idiot were focused and consistent, which shows it is possible for them to still put out a short, punchy, solid record. I don't think it's coincidental that my favorite albums for them are the shorter ones. They're easy to get through quickly and appreciate as an entire package, because they aren't trying too hard. They're just great on their own. I actually wanna hear your picks for a 12-song 21CB. Here's mine: 1. 21st Century Breakdown 2. Viva La Gloria! 3. Before the Lobotomy 4. Last Night on Earth 5. East Jesus Nowhere 6. Peacemaker 7. Murder City 8. Viva La Gloria? 9. Restless Heart Syndrome 10. The Static Age 11. 21 Guns 12. American Eulogy That right there is a strong fucking album. Y'know, all the years I've complained about how bloated 21CB is and I've never once thought to actually try narrowing it down to a shorter list. Silly me. I really like your list, but I'd probably add Horseshoes and Handgrenades in there somewhere. Objectively, I acknowledge it's not good, but I still can't help but find it catchy. That is in and of itself an unpopular opinion. Nope, I've got it too, I'm afraid.
Ritz
Late but 21st CB is overproduced, has some unwanted numbers like Christian's Inferno. I always have to skip that song. I mean, why is it even on the album? But it has its moments as well. Viva La Gloria, Static Age, American Eulogy (Mike is singing!!!) are some of the good songs. Trilogy, on the other hand, is shite. Uno, Dos and Tre combined have like a handful of good songs. I don't even remember the last time I had the urge to listen to one of the albums in the trilogy. But if you talk about Warning, Insomniac, Dookie, Nimrod, I always have the urge to give one of the albums a listen every day.
