GugsGreenDay
I have always loved Castaway. Its catchy and the bass is so out there. Waiting, on the other hand, is fabulous as well. Oh well, I feel this way about the whole album, except Blood Sex and booze. So ... I agree that the album is very good, like all. But I said and I repeat that Waiting is his best song! Spike
Castaway is one of those songs where the verses are miles better than the chorus, so that could be another reason why it wasn't a single. That said the same is true of Kill The DJ.

That said the same is true of Kill The DJ. Don't you dare compare Castaway's chorus to KTDJ's Castaway's main strength is of course the other worldly verses, but the chorus doesn't let it down. I especially the extra snarl Billie puts on the last "Castaway"

Libertine Angel
Castaway is pretty good. But you're all forgetting Misery and Minority. Minority was one of my favourite songs as a child, mainly due to the video. Misery is also excellent.
Chin for a Day
Minority was one of my favourite songs as a child, mainly due to the video. Misery is also excellent. Minority best attribute is seeing it live, even though the studio version is great.

Gwen Stacy
Minority is easily a great song. The album version is a bit crap, but it's great live. As much of a classic it is, let's face it, the lyrics are a little thin. There's room for improvement.

There could always be improvement. But it does have lyrics such as: "one light, one mind, flashing in the dark. Blinded by the silence of a thousand broken hearts"

I think this time could use to play some other music. You agree?? I agree to some extent that the concert needs a bit of a lift & I have said many times kfad is old & needs the boot. As for the concert in general - no I think its still the best night out & I am on a high for months after - there is nothing better for me - a straight up energetic rock concert.

But man is Green Day so no matter what you do I will continue enjoying their show. It's all their shows is the best of all !! xx

U wot "I pledge allegiance to the underworld One nation under dog there of which I stand alone A face in the crowd unsung, against the mold Without a doubt singled out the only way I know" "One light, one mind Flashing in the dark Blinded by the silence of a thousand broken hearts "For crying out loud," she screamed unto me A free for all Fuck 'em all You're on your own side" Some of the best verse lyrics Billie's written.
Popular Post Hermione
Plus GDA got it's name from that song (was originally called Green Day Minority but then changed to Green Day Authority when it became bigger and more of an "authority" on the band), which automatically makes it cool . I actually always think of "Green Day Authority" when I hear "I don't need your authority" lol.
