DookieLukie
You seemed pretty peeved at the time. Are you admitting you were trolling, or just pretending we didn't piss you off? I have lot of respect for the power of words. I was trying to prove a point that getting upset over the use of a word is ridiculous. I found it funny that people would flip a shit over "cunt" or "bitch" directed at them, but me being upset at "retarded" was somehow silly or out of line. Libertine Angel
Hmm, I suppose this would be unpopular... Dos is my favorite album of the trilogy. #Dirty Yes, yes that definitely would be unpopular. I never really cared for Macy's Day Parade. So would that, Macy's Day Parade is beautiful. Chin for a Day
Dos is my favorite of the trilogy, too. And I love Nightlife. Welcome to the "I love nightlife" club. As a matter of fact, I just listened to it.
Jirachi
I like all of Uno, at least a little. I like about half of Dos (Fuck Time, Makeout Party, Ashley, Lazy Bones, Stray Heart, and Wow Thats Loud), And i like little of Tre (Missing You, Brutal Love, X-Kid, and Dirty Rotten Bastards) So I guess I like Uni most

Certified Nimrod
But when I'm in a mood to listen to it, everything flows nicely (with the exception of Misery, but we won't get into that right now). Oh yes we bloody will Misery completely messes up Warning's flow. Not to say it's a bad song (even though I don't enjoy it), but it's in a terrible spot.
The Disappearing Boy
I loathe their cover of Like a Rolling Stone. One of the fantastic things about the original is that all the instruments blend into a cohesive whole but you can pick out one thread in particular and listen to it in isolation as it does its thing for the whole song--the liquid organ riff, the piano, the lead guitar, bass, rhythm guitar, Bob's voice. In Green Day's cover the whole thing is just utterly buried under a wave of guitar. Also, let's face it, Billie is better than Dylan technically when it comes to vocals but he can't come close to the passion Dylan put into his vocals on this particular song. For one moment there I thought you were talking about A Quick One, and I was about to chastise you with unending burning wrath. But I quite like Like a Rolling Stone. It's better than the original.

Guest
It's a general rule of thumb that every cover of a Bob Dylan song is miles better than the original. Dylan, while undeniably a great writer, is a fucking useless performer. And that's being generous.

Chin for a Day
If anyone wants to hear what a great performer Dylan is, listen to the album of standards he just released. One Enchanted Evening is awful on its own, but with Dylan singing it, it is even worse.

Sure, technically he's kind of shit (though I think he's far better than people give him credit for), but his delivery is second to none, and that's what counts for me. The sneer in his voice on the original just blows Billie's attempt away. And as I said earlier, the instrumentation is just far more interesting when it's not buried under guitar.

I actually agree with this, Warning is a fantastic album but it doesn't flow well. If I were to choose, it'd look more like Warning Minority Church On Sunday Fashion Victim Castaway BS&B Deadbeat Holiday Hold On Jackass Waiting Misery MDP

I haven't listened to the original in ages, but from what I remember of it, it's just a bit boring. Green Day's is more powerful. Still not great though. I feel the whole song just drags on.A Quick One has to be their best cover, for me. Just ahead of Working Class Hero.
