Blasphemy & Genocide: Unpopular Green Day Opinions, Part 2

Church on Sunday has one of my favorite lines ever: "I'm not getting any younger as long as you don't get any older."

I have to admit I don't know what it means ^^

I always forget how much I love Church On Sunday until I hear it. That goes for pretty much all of Warning actually, but Church On Sunday in particular.

Tears down your face leaving traces of my mistakes.....

Trust is a dirty word that comes from such a liar.

Yes, it is a lyrical gem.

Waiting is the best song on Warning and one of my favorite Green Day songs.

Top five on Warning, definitely, but I think I'd put Church on Sunday at the top.

Unpopular opinion (maybe?) - Minority is one of my least favorite Green Day tracks.

I love Minority, have done ever since I first saw the video when I was about 4.

Even live??? I love it anyway, but it is definitely a great track live.

Jump Salty by Pinhead Gunpowder is absolutely horrible. Can't stand Sarah's (Mike's) voice one bit, Jason does the vocals so much better.

vocals are gunpowder's weakness. I like Jason's singing but the other guys usually spoil it for me.

I would struggle to pick a favourite - I like every song on the album - very underrated.

It's my least favourite PHGP album, and that is down to the vocals, but it's not entirely bad.

Any album with MPLS Song on it can't be horrible!

Billie's is good too! And it is mostly him and Jason, so I don't mind a bit of the others occasionally.

Actually I've been wondering which other members sing. Like I assume it was Sarah (then known as Mike) on Jump Salty but was it Aaron too? And is it sometimes Bill? They're all credited for vocals on at least some of the albums so I wonder who sings on which songs or if some only ever did backing vocals.

Aaron did a bit on Jump Salty, but I can't really distinctly tell any of their voices besides Billie and Jason, as I'm not really familiar with the others.

Yeah same, I can only differentiate between Billie's singing, Jason's singing, and the growly punk singing done by who knows who :P

Goodbye Ellston Avenue all the way.

Yes. Followed fairly closely by Shoot the Moon.

Please share it if you do.... the body language will tell all! :P

It has been found over in another thread! :

I'm not sure if this is the interview you're thinking of but there's a similar question asked in this one. It's around the 7:30 mark, and Tre mentions H&H :D
I was wrong about what the question was and looks like he wasn't actually that surprised , I do think he seemed slightly surprised though :P

Only posting it as a quote so it's clear who actually found it. Plus mod privilege :P
