That's exactly what my mom said about my 5 year old cousin after he visited. Accurate comparison.

Could also describe Stephen Colbert, who's made millions off of winding people up :P

Don't mind him, he's just mad because he fell for it, even though he claims to be a supreme troll who never wastes his time on the internet :P

I line that line, but not in that song. It doesn't make sense there. I'd be fine with it in a different song, though.

Even I know Ceadog likes a lot of Green Day's work.

Why? I think it's fun.

If it wasn't really long and annoying I would like it more.

Cumdog

NGL this made me lol.

I hate it when Green Day plays Minority live.

Except:

Seems like you're wrong :P

Listening to people defend Dos is almost as boring as actually listening to the album

For me it's the whole trilogy.

I actually find people twisting themselves in knots to defend it quite entertaining :P

When you first meet the person you love, it is easy to spend time together. There is a raw passion that comes easily. As you've been together for 20+ years, it gets harder and harder to find that passion. You are more concerned with getting the laundry done. To me this song is about rekindling that passion.

I really, really wish I could see Fuck Time in the same way as you do, because I enjoy this explanation.

Unfortunately I think it's about Beej getting it on with, well, you know.

Or we could just pretend that he wrote this song for Tre and live happily ever after #TeamTrillie

Yeah, what does "salud" in "All the time" mean. They have to fill lyrics with random words, so it wouldn't be a kul funke line with no lyrics.

Well people talking about and interpreting songs is naturally more entertaining than people saying "that song sucks" :P

It's how you say a toast in Spanish, it literally means "health" but it's the same as saying "cheers"

Also you can't always hide behind "subjectivity" when discussing music. You can't view chord progressions/notes in a subjective way.

You're looking at the wrong side of the issue. An A major chord will always be an A major chord. But chord progressions/rhythm/colors can't affect the way I feel the song, they can't decide whether I like it or not. You can create the shittiest and dumbest piece of music that's ever been heard on this planet, but someone, somewhere, may like it and feel it as something good. As long as there is one human being liking something, you can't say that thing is universally shite. That's subjectivity.

He wasn't talking about that. He was referring to how DookieLukie labeled my musical facts "subjective" in order to dismiss them.

If saying that the album cannot be declared utter shite due to subjectivity existing is defending, then be so.

Even if musically I don't enjoy some of the tracks on trilogy, most of them have smart lyrics. And just because I/you/whoever else think the songs suck, it doesn't mean that's a definite decision for everyone else too. (aka your opinion doesn't make something be (officially declared) a piece of shit.)

lol of course its about him getting it on, many songs are. He's always been a horny little shit. However, the key, for me, is in the first line. I can just hear the conversation: "Adrienne, the damn kid doesn't need his football uniform until Saturday!"

90% of popular music is about getting it on. Actually it's one of their advantages that so many of theif songs aren't about it, or if they are, they are relatively imaginatively written.

Completely missed the point

Was referring to what DookieLukie said, which was that what Ceadog said was subjective when it was just notes

My problem with this is that it implies literally no song can be bad because of subjectivity. That's just crazy.

Well people talking about and interpreting songs is naturally more entertaining than people saying "that song sucks" :P

I say more than that and you know it

On a side note, I love that after we were hit in the crotch by the Trilogy all complaints about KYE just vanished. We didn't know how good we had it back when that was their only bad song.

There's a fellow knockin', says his name is Take Back. Should I let him in? He looks angry. And screams horribly.

Okay, two. :P Though I maintain it was deliberately bad.

Nah it's still shit :P But like SWTRLF, it's decent live, so it's got one plus point I guess.

More than Oh Love has anyway
