You're looking at the wrong side of the issue. An A major chord will always be an A major chord. But chord progressions/rhythm/colors can't affect the way I feel the song, they can't decide whether I like it or not. You can create the shittiest and dumbest piece of music that's ever been heard on this planet, but someone, somewhere, may like it and feel it as something good.
