AlissaGoesRAWR
2) 8th Ave Serenade is amazing and so is Sex Drugs & Violence....I dont think anyone has ever agreed with me on this. I love SDV, but only the Demolicious version! It packs so much punch, especially when compared to the flat version on Tré.
bollard_11
The Demolicious versions of the Trilogy are the best. Especially 99 Revolutions. I would have liked the trilogy if they released Demolicious as the main release (that album would be perfect if they added X-Kid, 8th Avenue Serenade and Dirty Rotten Bastards) and release the rest of the songs as B-Sides

Even Stop When the Red Lights Flash would be good. I could do without Little Boy Named Train, Makeout Party and Oh Love, if substitutions were the only option. State of Shock was kind of a letdown. Disappointed that was the only "new" song that they considered worthy of putting on the album. The rest must have been really shitty. Popular Post songsforthedeaf
Not sure if this would be the right place to mention this (my apologies if it isn't), but I feel like some of the trilogy's songs could pull of being on an album by The Network (yes, I believe The Network was a Green Day side-project) due to their sound and lyrical content. Songs like "Kill the DJ," "Troublemaker," "Wild One," and some others, produced and delivered like Money Money 2020, would be an interesting thing to hear...

I can definitely see Troublemaker in particular working well with an 80s new wave feel to it, and I can imagine a lot of the lyrics on the albums would sound cool delivered Van Gogh style. Now I'm wishing The Network would steal the albums and cover them. (Also just want to say I like your username and ava, QOTSA are awesome)

I also hate how Lazy Bones didn't have a demo on Demolicious I think I've said it before, but they should've put State of Shock on Uno, moved Kill the DJ to Dos (and got rid of Nightlife), and maybe replaced Ashley with Hearts Collide. And yeah, Lazy Bones would've sounded great on Demolicious.
Anaïs.
I disagree with them removing Nightlife. I think it's an important part of their catalogue, whether anyone likes it or not. First off, it's the only song they've ever produced that heavily features guest vocals (yeah, yeah, Letterbomb, but Kathleen Hanna didn't sing a significant chunk of the song). Second, it's a pretty experimental song for them and while it may not have turned out awesomely, it's 2014 and Green Day has produced a rap song and is still telling people that they're going to do whatever the fuck they want, and that's pretty badass imho. I view it less as a badass experiment saying "We'll do whatever we want!" and more of a semi-desperate "We're still relevant, dammit!" Which is pretty much all of Dos, really.

Mykee Mexx
Dos ist still the best of the Trilogy imho, and I just listened to it again and still freak out with Wow that´s loud! And by the way - after such a long time I get tired of discussions on the Trilogy, because everything has been said and done in the meantime... it´s like a merry-go-round... just like my own statements... *yaaaawwwwwns boredly*
Anaïs.
Yeah but Nightlife is fucking awesome. The instrumental itself is great, but I can't get past the fact that 1.) Lady Kaybra can't rap, 2.) Billie's vocals are distorted to hell and back, and 3.) goddamn, those lyrics.
