Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love
Lazy Bones is great and Nightlife is possibly the worst song they have ever released. I'll see what I can do. Is it just me or is that very similar to the solo they did live when they played it the first few times it was out? or at least the solo they did on the live recording that's on my ipod

Hermione
Fuck Time should have never been put on a Green Day record. If it was gonna be on one I think Dos was the best place for it though, I think it fits fine with the sleazy/party vibe. Also I doubt it would've sounded much different as FBHT. Anaïs.
Fuck Time should have never been put on a Green Day record. That can basically be said about the entirety of Dos.
Spike
That can basically be said about the entirety of Dos. At least they had the decency to keep it all in one place
Hermione
Why not? Or no different at all since it's the same band Not really , FBHT has an over the top 60s sound and style that's unlike Green Day, has a different line up, and you almost forget they're the same people when you see them live since their stage personas are so different. But yeah, since Dos has a dirty retro feel that's reminiscent of Foxboro I don't think the recording of Fuck Time would be any different to how it is on Dos if it was on a Foxboro album. Live performances differ a lot but they've always played it as both bands anyway so it's not like it means FBHT don't play it.
Certified Nimrod
My only problem is that you have the mixing skills necessary to do a remix but you haven't already. Yes. We need this. Haaaaaave y'met Wild One? Hey, Wild One's solo is good. It saddens me that people still enjoy Lazy Bones. It was cool when it was on Green Day Angry Birds. Stupid hipster. Or no different at all since it's the same band The production would probably be different.
Z J
when you looked at them in detail, they didn't really make much sense. The same holds true for "The Forgotten" imho. A circumstance that doesn't make much sense or maybe you're just….dumb sorry

Guest
I dunno why, I just don't think Fuck Time is what Green Day are about, it's kind of like the Oh Love video. On a vaguely related note, since Kay touched on it briefly, the way Billie writes about women is one of the things that made Green Day stand out in a big way. Part of the reason I abhor Dos so much is because it's such a massive departure from that empowering message that is Green Day's trademark, and instead we just get shit like Makeout Party and Fuck Time. People can argue that they're fun songs, and that's fine, but they're not what Green Day is about, and are completely at odds with their back catalogue that includes songs like She, Maria, 80, and so many others. Been there done that

Spike
Hey, Wild One's solo is good. True, but it's not worth listening to the worst song they've ever done for the sake of that. On the topic of the Oh Love video, I only just got around to watching the full version the other day, and I was pretty gobsmacked. It's very un-Green Day, arguably misogynistic and just kind of baffling really. I never realised they were Robin Thicke. So there's a moral dilemma.

DookieLukie
I think that the Oh Love music video came across differently than it was supposed to. I think it was supposed to be some symbol of unquenchable desire and wanting to find love, but it turned into a creepy harem video. I'm pretty sure Billie makes like he's eating some girl out at the end (might only be in the Playboy version?). However, I feel like it's mostly Sam Bayer's fault. It has his shitty vibe to it. The video goes with the theme of the song but takes it into a dirtier, more physical place, and the song is exactly the opposite. I wouldn't say it's misogynistic. They seem to be worshipping women, not putting them down. But it definitely made me uncomfortable. Honestly, I think the shitty leadup to the Trilogy and the meltdown and rehab was a big subliminal message. Green Day throws out some uncharacteristic songs that are kind of sucky, throws out some creepy-ass music videos (remember when they rode bikes in Kill the DJ for no reason at all), does some shitty marketing and drunk performances, and then Billie goes to rehab. Maybe this whole think was some meta setup to show people what happens when you live this kind of empty lifestyle of drinking (iHeart), having sex with hookers (Oh Love), and being cool/showing off like a child (motorcycles in KTD).
Guest
^ that seems like a lot of effort for a cautionary tale, but the signs of some sort of impending meltdown were certainly there.

JOE THE X-KID
The funny thing about the Oh Love video is Jason Whites presence. He's like seen in two shots and stands there awkwardly, I actually feel a bit sorry for him haha.
The Disappearing Boy
I use to enjoy it when I was on the "OMG new green day music" train but I've come to realise it's just embarrassing, what were they thinking. I am/was kinda like that with the Trilogy. When it first came out, I loved it, cos it was new Green Day material. I went through a period of about two or three months where I loved the Trilogy - like every song - but then I came back to GDC. I then realised why it was so bad (for the most part, anyway). Now, the only emotion the Trilogy stirs in me is nostalgia for the time when I thought it was brilliant, except for the few songs that I actually really like.

Penguin Puffball
I used to HATE Rest but now I think it's one of the chillest songs they have. I'm assuming that's unpopular because I remember a bunch of people saying a while back they thought it was the most boring GD song ever.
