A really interesting contrast. Same kind of thing as Stray Heart I guess, with the high up minor chords. Or, yknow, Springsteen's entire career. Billie has such a dark voice there and they way he sings "whisper are you dying in my ear". Scumbag and suffocate are probably 2 and 3. Yeah the whole production thing would be cool to get into but like Tom says once you study something it kills any love you had for it. Like the cover of Tired of Waiting for You that doesn't pale at all when compared to the original (though Ray was a better singer ), or Ha Ha You're Dead or On the Wagon or Rotting. Well about 3 seconds of it is anyway Seriously though most of the trilogy isn't silly/nonsense lines, they're the exception. All kinds of more thoughtful/serious/intelligent stuff in there too.
