Chin for a Day
Drinking as never stopped you posting. That's when you do your best work. Céadóg does his best posting when he is drinking. Billie performs best when he is drinking. I see a pattern.

Akshat Jain
cause it feels like the put every song they had on these records ;D Nope, not all of them!
JOE THE X-KID
I think Brutal Love to X-Kid is one of the strongest 5 song runs they've done on any album. Shame it drops off in quality after that.
ozoneplayer
Personally, I find longview to be one of Green day's most overrated songs. Don't get me wrong, it's a good song, and it has a great bassline, but I definitely wouldn't say it's one of their best tracks, I wouldn't even put it in the top 10. I'd much rather listen to a song like No pride, The grouch or Castaway over it. Also, I personally think Insomniac kick's Dookie's arse overall. Once again Dookie's a near perfect album, but Insomniac is a little more consistent, and has much more of a kick.

It is true. The entire album was a trendsetter because they were singing about emotions and feelings everyone felt, but were afraid to say out loud. Here is an article that kind of describes the reaction to Dookie as a whole. But it does touch on Longview as well. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/01/31/how-green-day-s-dookie-defined-the-1990s-and-changed-music-forever.html

Mayonaise
If one Green Day song could be instrumental, it's gotta be Makeout Party.

It's one of my fave videos to go to when I have nothing to watch on YT.
Beerjeezus
If one Green Day song could be instrumental, it's gotta be Makeout Party.Yes that would sound good. And it would have no lyrics, right?! However, I must admit that I like MP, especially the Demolicious version. It's a rare Trilogy song with some energy.
Billie Hoe
My favourite Video of all time is Walking Contradiction. .. is that even an unpopular opinion? Or just a random one?

To be honest, I think MP is one of the better songs on Dos, only due to instrumentation.

Shame it drops off in quality after that. It's not bad. The first two are definitely the best of those 5. But as for a five-song run? How about the last five on AI? The Disappearing Boy
Personally I think the first 9 on AI is a pretty good run.Or even the first 13 Yeah I would say that pretty much any 5 song run on AI will beat any 5 song run on the Trilogy.
Mayonaise
The first 5 songs on Nimrod and Insomniac are a great 5 song run. I would say the same for Warning, but I was never a Fashion Victim guy. I mean, not a bad song, just not my cup of tea. I could listen to it, but when it's over I'd like to move onto something else.
Libertine Angel
Yeah, Fashion Victim is a good song but one of the weakest on Warning.
