The Disappearing Boy
Especially look out for it on Haushinka and Reject. Those songs are mental.Definitely two of my favourite songs overall. Terribly underrated.

AlissaGoesRAWR
Currently on a Green Day high and basically in love with every single song they've ever made. Including Nightlife, Amy, Drama Queen, and all of Dos. Sue me. And you called ME a dirty fangirl?
Maid Meringue
Check out Dead Mermaids. oh right But I meant as part of a green day song. I mean, they've already made Nightlife I don't think they could embarrass themselves any more.

JOE THE X-KID
I think the X-Kid video is great, very poignant. It's like this longing for life to be simple again and captures that nostalgic feel. Guest
Ben Johnston Doesn't use one anymore because he doesn't need one. You can play all but the most obnoxious blast beats with just one pedal if you're good enough
The Platypus!
If you're going to listen to a whole album it's got to be Nimrod for me, nothing beats it.
The Platypus!
Nimrod's really great, it's one of those albums I put on and leave in my player for weeks because I just love it so much, but for me 21CBD always takes the cake in terms of the album as a whole. So epic Christian's Inferno and Viva La Gloria (little girl) always get skipped. I can also listen to UNO on repeat for hours.
Chin for a Day
I'm actually a Warning girl. I think it is so underrated. All the songs are catchy and and maintain the energy level of their previous albums, but they started to move to more mature subjects. I think 21st CB is probably #2
Maid Meringue
I have to listen to AI and 21stCB all the way through, or not at all. While Nimrod is definitely my favorite album, I like to skip songs lately. I think Insomniac is a good one to play end to end because that snotty vibe is really addictive.
alienlifeform
All the people who likes Green Day and/or has "21 Guns" as their favorite song from them, do not deserve to listen the band... you're just listening the wrong band. Sorry but this is ridiculous. It's a Green Day song (and clearly one of the band's favourites since they chose to release it as a single and they play it live so much), no less valid to have as a favourite than any of their songs.

Nothing wrong with disliking the song yourself but judging other people as less deserving fans for liking it seems a bit silly.

Sauli
I love 21 Guns. You can kick me, you can punch me and break my face but you won't change the way I feel Also, it must be noted that different people may have different conceptions of Green Day, and what theyre about etc, and so they may appreciate different things as art is always subjective. And if a song happens to be a popular and well-known, it doesn't necessarily make it a bad song. It's a ridiculous habit of some people to claim that you can't be a fan if you happen to like the hits as well Reminds me of a certain Slovenian guy, in all seriousness. Anyway, telling what is true fandom and what is not is absolutely ridiculous for surely you can't tell others what they're allowed to dig and what not, in order to be cool or hil or something as stupendous. I can understand why some people may not like 21 Guns, it's surely bombastic and the lyrics are sometimes a bit vague and it could be argued that it's generally a bit pretentious, generic stadium rock ballad (I don't think so butI understand why some do ) but heck, I don't run around claiming that those who think in the aforementioned way aren't real fans. That's why I hate the whole fan culture sometimes.

alienlifeform
I'm not trying to change the musical taste of anyone and there is no problem on liking the hits of a band (my all time favorite is Basket Case).. but I can't dig 21 Guns.. i've already tried to change the way I feel about it.. as I said before, I think this song is boring as hell... and I thing Green day is bigger that this stadium ballads made only for kids and little girls say that they like rock and roll... (throw the rocks) Or maybe you could stop acting like a douche about people and their liking... not acting like a douche.. just stating an opinion, you don't have to agree with it
Chin for a Day
All the people who likes Green Day and/or has "21 Guns" as their favorite song from them, do not deserve to listen the band... you're just listening the wrong band. You may not personally like 21 guns, but it is an example of why they are headed to the RRH0F in their first year of eligibility. They have never been afraid to try something new, to change things up. Most bands stick to the same formula niche that they started in. Great bands do things differently. Sometimes they fail, sometimes they succeed. 21 Guns is one of their best selling single ever. So, the general populace thinks they succeeded. Personally, I like it. I'm always up for a great anthem, the lyrics are beautiful and Billie's vocals are one of his best ever. He does a brilliant job with the pauses and the way he drags some of the words out. It makes the song a statement. I know you hate the song, but don't be surprised to see it at the RRHoF. They have a very limited time to make a statement and the song can easily become a spectacle. At this stage of the game, I would bet money that Billie still has it on his list.
