I disagree with them removing Nightlife. I think it's an important part of their catalogue, whether anyone likes it or not. First off, it's the only song they've ever produced that heavily features guest vocals (yeah, yeah, Letterbomb, but Kathleen Hanna didn't sing a significant chunk of the song). Second, it's a pretty experimental song for them and while it may not have turned out awesomely, it's 2014 and Green Day has produced a rap song and is still telling people that they're going to do whatever the fuck they want, and that's pretty badass imho.

How did I not know this? Does anyone want to point me toward the part of the song where she's singing

What does it mean?

He meant what he said and he said what he meant. An Akshat Jain is faithful one-hundred percent.

Just turn on the song, dude. :P

Yes they are.

1st song - Billie Joe was the only one involved, from what I can dig up.

2nd song - Iggy Pop song that features Green Day.

3rd song - Neither a U2 or a Green Day song. It's a U2 & Green Day song.

The Demolicious versions of the Trilogy are the best. Especially 99 Revolutions.

This. It's quite comforting to know that part (ok, maybe only a small part) of the Trilogy's crapness was down to the production, rather than the songs.

How?

Because that isn't really even part of the song, she was just singing it because it's a theme throughout the album. It's more of an interlude to me

I view it less as a badass experiment saying "We'll do whatever we want!" and more of a semi-desperate "We're still relevant, dammit!" Which is pretty much all of Dos, really.

As if Billie really cares if he's relevant anymore. Honestly, that's a pretty stupid opinion.

The only reason I tolerate Nightlife is because it is different and unique in the Trilogy. Otherwise, it's a sucky song and you shouldn't have based your username on it.

That's literally the most obnoxious emoticon in existence. I'm not sure why so many people here use it. It's so condescending.
