Tom doesn't think it's that great. :P Nor do I for that matter.

Speak for yourself but I'm convinced Tom appreciates those vocal melodies

Apart from the vocal melody, lyrics, Billie's delivery in the chorus, one of the best choruses they've ever done, decent feel, cool chord progression and the solo ;)

I thought you agreed with me! Genuinely sorry for spreading false info.

Paper Lanterns was the last "new" Green Day song I heard before Uno because my file was corrupt and it wasn't on my ipod for about a year before I realised it. And then I finally heard it on Awesome as Fuck and it was awesome.

Okay, can we talk about the girl who sang "Too Much Too Soon" in the musical? Because damn.

She was really great! I wish she would have had more vocal parts in the musical.

I don't care what anyone says Sweet 16 is fucking brilliant.

If the guitars weren't so chimey and Billie's voice wasn't so filtered, I'd be completely sold on the song.

I think the guitars make the song haha, the clean, jangly tone works in my opinion

Re-listening to Money Money 2020 for some reason and realized that if the Trilogy had been composed of three albums that were as good as that one, it probably wouldn't have been a flop. Seriously, there's not a single song on there that I don't feel like listening to at any given time.

I really need to get around to purchasing that one. Still haven't given the whole thing a full listen.

Spotify is your friend!

I'm one of those people who's OCD about having to actually own all of his music, so I've never made a Spotify account. I probably should at some point, though.

I've always disliked the Network's music without ever having really listened to it. Well, I've listened to a couple of songs on youtube, but they've never really struck me. I'll have to give it a proper go one day.

I love The Network. In fact something about the songs reminds me of Foxboro Hot Tubs. The vibe feels similar despite the sound being so different.

I'm not a fan of The Network, but that's because I just don't like New Wave in general.

Drama Queens brilliant and the bleed part doesnt even bother me, i dont think its intent is to reference periods.

It is a good song, and I didn't think of it that way until I read it here.

Same.

Same. I only made a Spotify account so I could listen to a Spotify-exclusive session.

I used to think this line was gross, I've changed my mind and don't mind it anymore. It's pretty poignant, really.

exactly, I think it really kinda emphasises the message of the song.

Not sure if this is unpopular, but I think Foot in Mouth is the best (live) EP that they've ever done.
