If AI didn't exist and only Holiday did, I'd say it was one of their best songs. But, within the context of the album, there's something about the song that is a minor let-down to me and I can't figure out what it is. Yeah, Extraordinary Girl, has good chorus, but nothing else. I just skimmed and the impression I got was that someone, somewhere thought that Holiday was the weakest song on AI but yeah it really wasn't fair to Holiday to be put right after JOS. That repeating bass line gets boring after 5 seconds and you're left waiting when the song will continue. The lyrics during that section are among the best he's written, although I'll admit the breakdown does slow the song down a bit.
