WhiteTim
I think Brain Stew is his best vocal on there. I'm in the minority in preferring is BIAB vocals to his AAF vocals. Yeah I like the vocals on BIAB better (tho I prefer the song selection on AAF better)
Spike
I think Brain Stew is his best vocal on there. I'm in the minority in preferring is BIAB vocals to his AAF vocals. That's definitely an unpopular opinion. Breakdown tour > AI tour, especially vocally.
Anaïs.
That's definitely an unpopular opinion. Breakdown tour > AI tour, especially vocally. I just prefer the rawer edge his vocals on BIAB have. And there are still certain songs on AAF whose vocals bug me no matter how many times I'm told they're not messed with.
The Disappearing Boy
I love Jason White. He obviously doesn't love me, as he wouldn't do something like falling in love without getting to know someone first.

WhiteTim
There's definitely some weird pitch correction in there. The one that springs to mind is on Christie Road, it blights an otherwise amazing performance of one of my favorite songs. Christie Road isn't on AAF tho? WhiteTim
Yep, it is! I have the cd and vinyl not on it Edit: Nevermind I see there's a deluxe edition sorry didn't know about that
Z J
If there was pitch correction then it was done on sight because the videos of that performance have audio that line up with what is heard on the CD. And that's all I've got to say about that.

What color is the vinyl? It was only released on pink

JOE THE X-KID
Nah it probably is just pitch correction, but it annoys the hell out of me,
The Disappearing Boy
I prefer the slower - Bullet in a Bible version of St. Jimmy. Also, Billie's writhing around on the floor at the Irving Plaza show was a bit silly.
StuckWithDom
At the start of Christie Road on the deluxe version of AAF, there's a tad bit of pitch correct in my opinion, but that doesn't really annoy me that much, most of the time I forget it's even there

WhiteTim
Is there a physical version of the deluxe of AAF or just iTunes?
Certified Nimrod
Is there a physical version of the deluxe of AAF or just iTunes? I think so. Wikipedia has different sections for iTunes bonus tracks and deluxe edition bonus tracks. Paper Lanterns/2000 Light Years Away is an iTunes exclusive, though.
