Hermione
no matter, if he doesn't have written the lyrics, but i'm sure, he has contributed a lot in making those insane guitar solos Billie wrote the lyrics, it's the music I'm talking about. In the album booklets it says "music by Green Day" like usual but I think someone (most likely WhiteTim!) once mentioned there's a site where you can see who gets royalties for writing songs/albums where Billie is credited for writing the lyrics and Billie, Mike and Tre are credited for writing the music but Jason isn't. Anyone else remember this/know what site this is? Not looking to prove a point against Jason or anything lol, just interested.
ifmemoryserves
christian's inferno is better than 95% of the songs on the trilogy and is in no way the worst song on 21cb

Jollyroger118
last night/ this morning I was quite high and I listened to most of the trilogy and I have to say I can understand why Green Day were so excited about it and thought it was great. Its just fun, they didn't really try to make a bold statement and the guitars are really great which I bet is owed a lot to Jason. I think the trilogy has some of the best solos of their career. But seriously its great music to just enjoy, its not overly thought provoking or hardcore. Its fun. And from their perspective I bet they were super excited by this new direction and all the songs and what not, I bet they had fun making it. I've always thoroughly enjoyed the trilogy but I finally appreciate it for what its meant to be, which isn't much. But there are quite a few duds and I hate the "Carried Away" part of DRB, even though the song does sound like they were very carried away. And when I first heard it I hated the chorus to Ashley but now its one of my favorites and IMO one of the best from the trilogy. And DOS is by far the best, again IMO

Spike
Jason isn't mentioned on any of the Trilogy songs on ASCAP. Still, if who is and isn't a member of a band boils down to royalties then we're reading far too much into things.
Sauli
christian's inferno is better than 95% of the songs on the trilogy and is in no way the worst song on 21cb I'm not the biggest fan of the trilogy but I think every song on it beats that turd called Christian's Inferno. I dasn't claim whether its their worst song ever or not, but probably its a tie between it and Take Back.

Exactly plus other people involved gets royalties besides songwriters producers even the additional musicians (tho not as much as the main ones)

Todd
So if Jason is the fourth member, then why did they only make Uno, Dos, and Tre with Billie, Mike, and Tre, and then abandon the Cuatro cover with Jason, and put a group shot on the Cuatro cover? The three "main" band members got their own albums, and Jason got a small part on the Cuatro cover. Also, I have no opinion on this, I'm just pointing out this fact

Even being together with the band on Cuatro made his heart flutter a little too hard. In all seriousness, they probably realized he's nowhere near recognizable enough to put solely on the cover of something.
Spike
In all seriousness, they probably realized he's nowhere near recognizable enough to put solely on the cover of something. Yet they can put Lady Cobra on the back of Dos So if Jason is the fourth member, then why did they only make Uno, Dos, and Tre with Billie, Mike, and Tre, and then abandon the Cuatro cover with Jason, and put a group shot on the Cuatro cover? Anaïs.
Yet they can put Lady Cobra on the back of Dos By that logic Eisenhower and Truman are in Green Day. Key word of that sentence is "the back". Plus she's Billie's Yoko Ono, remember? But of course they are. They were between John and Tre.
Todd
Yet they can put Lady Cobra on the back of Dos By that logic Eisenhower and Truman are in Green Day. No, they're not on the trilogy. You're not using logic very logically . Billie is a member, and his face is on Uno. Mike is a member, and his face is on Dos. Tre is a member, and his face is on Tre. Jason is a member as of 2012, and his face is not on Cuatro. We are not talking about Nimrod, we are talking about the pattern of the trilogy covers. And speaking of just waking up: in the middle of all this talk about Jason, I found myself thinking about Abbey Road and 'Paul is dead' for some reason. No, I don't know why either. Certified Nimrod
Billie did say in Cuatro that Jason was a fourth member, but Billie says a lot of things he doesn't mean. Example: 99 Revs is the best song he's ever written What makes you think he didn't mean that? So if Jason is the fourth member, then why did they only make Uno, Dos, and Tre with Billie, Mike, and Tre, and then abandon the Cuatro cover with Jason, and put a group shot on the Cuatro cover? The three "main" band members got their own albums, and Jason got a small part on the Cuatro cover. Also, I have no opinion on this, I'm just pointing out this fact I read somewhere that Jason didn't want to be on the cover. I wish I could remember where.
