SfarrInsomniac
Yeah how dare you not give in to the GDC pressure to hate this Trilogy. I don't love the trilogy but I keep switching favorites first ¡DOS! Was my favorite then I didn't really like it too much anymore, then ¡TRÉ! Was my favorite then I got sort of worn out of it, then ¡UNO! Was my favorite now I can't choose between ¡UNO! or ¡TRÉ!The struggle is real
captain peroxide
I'm slowly becoming OBSESSED with Demolicious. Something is very wrong here. Literally every song on Demolicious is better than its Trilogy counterpart. I loved it so much when I first listened to it that I went out and bought the vinyl immediately. It's a real shame about State of Shock, because it's so flat and boring and stale and ugh and everything surrounding it is bursting with life and passion that they somehow managed to iron out with compression and effects on 1/2/3.

I wouldn't say EVERY song is better. For example, I think the demo version of "Oh Love" was much worse than the original. I guess that's about it though. And State of Shock was just so boring. Not sure why they even bothered.
Spike
I prefer the Trilogy version of Rusty James but other than that every song on Demolicious is better. Missing You is fucking epic.
Hermione
I prefer a lot of the songs on Demolicious BUT that's because a lot of the songs on Demolicious are my least favourites on Uno Dos and Tre, the blandest ones that needed more raw edge to them. It's cool that they put so many of my least favourites on there really, let me find new appreciation for them while there was no need for another version of the ones that were already great. Probably still prefer more of them in their Uno Dos and Tre form though. I prefer the Trilogy version of Rusty James but other than that every song on Demolicious is better. Missing You is fucking epic. I'm torn on Missing You, really like the sound of both in different ways. Demolicious has the much saucier "It gets so...hard when I'm missing you", while Tre has the 60 Minute Makeover "ticka tickahh" noise in the instrumental bit, so it's a tie. Private Ale is a great song, and it's a shame it was barely ever played live Agreed! My favourite on Kerplunk Ok.....here it goes..... I found myself singing along with Troublemaker when it came up on shuffle..... I enjoyed it too. Oh the shame. Have no shame!

I'd say Demolicious is more or less a "trilogy's greatest hits" attempt, which is laughable in its own right. But seriously, Demolicious rules. But seriously, Demolicious rules. Especially Little Boy Named Train, Sex Drugs & Violence, 99 Revolutions and Angel Blue, and to some extent Stay The Night, Nuclear Family and Baby Eyes. I know some of them are "greatest hits" as far as the Trilogy goes but I find them among the least interesting (that's not to say I don't like them though, it's only in comparison to the rest of the songs). Sex, Drugs & Violence, imo, benefits most from Demolicious. The song is nearly terrible on Tré, but I can't stop jamming once those guitars are fixed. Same with 99 Revs... And Stay the Night... don't even get me started... HOW DARE YOU SAY IT'S BLAND.
The Disappearing Boy
State of Shock is better than most of the Trilogy. Bear in mind it is a demo, so it's not perfect, but there is definitely some potential there. Also, the Demolicious version of Baby Eyes blows the Dos version out of the water. It's remarkable how the bass at the beginning and the rough sound transforms the whole song.
Hermione
I like State Of Shock, there's something unusual about it. I feel like if there was a proper/non demo version of it then it'd be really interesting and cool. And Stay the Night... don't even get me started... HOW DARE YOU SAY IT'S BLAND. That's on the to a lesser extent list . Great lyrics and a great song in general but the delivery isn't hugely interesting on Uno, much more seedy sounding and just more to it on Demolicious. Also, the Demolicious version of Baby Eyes blows the Dos version out of the water. It's remarkable how the bass at the beginning and the rough sound transforms the whole song.So true! Sauli
the trilogy here and the trilogy there the same banter about it everywhere Honestly I have not even listened it for three months or so.

Naw it's not the worst State Of Shock is an okay song but there's nothing exciting nor is there anything awful about it just a standard Green Day song IMO
Popular Post Akshat Jain
State of Shock is worse than everything on the Trilogy except LBNT and Walk Away. that's not true, State of Shock really fits the album, and as it is a demo, it looks and sounds like a demo, don't forget, it's a demo, all demo sounds like a demo. cause they are DEMO!!
The Disappearing Boy
I'm sure that they would 'tidy it up' a bit if it were gonna be on a studio album.

Akshat Jain
Sound quality has nothing to do with the lyrics of the music playing... it has to do, when the sound quality is good , you just enjoy everything. from chorus, to the bridge, from the verse to, the SOLO, and when that's not great, you just suppose everything going like a car with a uniform velocity. False. All the production wizardry in the world couldn't make me enjoy Troublemaker.
