Spike
Lol I've never seen that video! What channel did they show that on?! I've only seen it more recently, on Scuzz, and they show the proper one there now at least. I saw it on Kerrang a few times, and I'm sure it was on Q at some point. Honestly, I didn't know the non-NBA one existed until today.

Pretty bad that they couldn't even show the right video really, considering their love for Green Day.
The Disappearing Boy
I like the wake me up video coz it's based on the secondary interpretation of that song - 9/11. I guess Billie didn't want a video tribute to his dad. but the theme of the song - loss of a loved one - is still represented in the video. That said, the first scene is vomit-inducing. JOE THE X-KID
Is it just me or does Sam Bayer come across as an arrogant twat?
Spike
Is it just me or does Sam Bayer come across as an arrogant twat? Nope, that's definitely not just you. The whole "I'm Sam Bayer" section of BIAB is self-indulgent twaddle.
The Disappearing Boy
I know I don't like him, but I can't really remember why. I mean like videos of him that I don't like. Edit: didn't realise he'd done the videos for Oh Love and Kill the DJ too,

WhiteTim
I thought he retired after the JOS video. I guess he just couldn't keep away. He tried to switch to movies and severely fucked off Nightmare On Elm Streets and went back to music video
AlissaGoesRAWR
I've never seen that before but dude I'm pretty sure that is an advert for the NBA. Yeah, that's definitely not the KYE music video played in the U.S. What the fuck is that?

Just don't like the cringeworthy execution of it.I know I don't like him, but I can't really remember why. To be fair it's a thing he acknowledges and jokes about, but yeah.

Absolutely. As I said before, the first scene is pure vomit and the acting throughout the whole thing is......... Probably best not to say anything about it actually
Sauli
To be fair I have never found Green Days music videos to be particularly appealing but then again, I'm not a big fan of music videos at the first place.
TommyGun
but the JOS video is amazing, bayer did a good job i'd say along with American Idiot
Sauli
Ok to be honest I aswell fancy the Jezus of suburbia video, it's right amazing very truly but in general their videos are kinda duöö and redundant in my humble opinion.
Spike
but the JOS video is amazing, bayer did a good job i'd say along with American Idiot I think that's a contender to win the thread. I think that's their second worst video, behind Brain Stew. The rest of the videos for Insomniac and Nimrod especially we're absolutely epic. The Disappearing Boy
The American Idiot video complements the song perfectly, I have to say.
Guest
American Idiot will never not be a good music video and no one can convince me otherwise.
SfarrInsomniac
I love the American Idiot music video it's so rebellious and fits the song perfectly, I think the Last of the American Girls video is pretty creative but it doesn't seem like a Green Day Music video they're sort of the type to make untrendy videos it seemed like they tried too hard using dancers, same goes with the Oh Love video
ifmemoryserves
i've never really understood all the hate on the wmuwse video. i mean, i don't LOVE it, but i've never seen any reason to dislike it. i've seen far worse music videos and at least it's entertaining.and the american idiot music video is literally perfect.
