Akshat Jain
I was thinking about this earlier actually, but I genuinely cannot think of a Green Day song that is worse than The Forgotten, in my opinion. Some people might say Nightlife, but I'd probably take that over The Forgotten any day. in my opinion there is one .... MISERY.... and these two songs are far great than this song! Hearts Collide just makes me really happy because there's so much you can do with the harmonies yeh this song's cool... and it perfectly fits into the thing it was supposed to be.... the intro part just kills
Spike
in my opinion there is one .... MISERY.... and these two songs are far great than this song! What's wrong with Misery? I think it's one of the best songs on Warning and I love all the additional instrumentation. It was almost a sneak peak at 21CB in a sense.
Akshat Jain
You're all deaf, Hearts Collide is fucking terrible. It's a sugary sweet mash of uncatchy riffs with a barely discernible melody and pointless harmonies fucking off in 10 directions at once. I don't think I've ever listened to it more than once, and that was when I first downloaded it 4 years ago. Would have fitted in perfectly on the Trilogy. 10 directions!!! But i know only 8... and the song fits the situation perfectly.. Christian and Gloria.. their hearts colliding with each other..!! What's wrong with Misery? I think it's one of the best songs on Warning and I love all the additional instrumentation. It was almost a sneak peak at 21CB in a sense. THAT's the point.... it would have fit perfectly on 21CBD

Akshat Jain
You see every song that's been written on this earth or mars whichever you consider... goes to street with a deep influence and a deep meaning.. and hearts collide is one such song!!.. only people who have their heart's collide with another would understand it!!!
The Disappearing Boy
Misery's great! A really interesting and inventive sound for Green Day.
Hermione
Aww Hearts Collide is pure sweetness! And co-written by Mike which makes it even sweeter somehow . Great melody and harmonies too.
Jirachi
Misery is possibly in my top 5 Green Day songs and i luv it I think i like Foxboro Hot Tubs more than The Network. I mainly feel that The Network's songs seem...lazilly written. Like Money Money 2020 is just one verse twice and money money 2020 repeated again and again, and Spastic Society is just random words (Unless im st00pid and am missing a meaning D:) and such. idk, i really like Roshambo, Spike, Supermodel Robots, Teenagers From Mars, and Right Hand O Rama on the album but thats kinda it. Hermione
I think The Network is more about doing a parody of 80s music and being funny than good songs tbh, although I do enjoy a lot of the songs musically as well as for the amusement factor. Foxboro Hot Tubs is just great 60s style music and much less of a joke so naturally it's going to be better. I mean pretty much all The Network's lyrics are tongue in cheek or a flat out joke whereas Foxboro Hot Tubs have some real heartfelt, thoughtful and dark lyrics not far from ordinary Green Day. And a lot of The Network's music is an intentionally ridiculous and over the top version of 80s music whereas Foxboro Hot Tubs' music just sounds like 60s songs without being silly. I appreciate them each for what they are, a parody band not to be taken seriously and a fabulous and fun retro style band.

Hermione
Was it really? With JAR and Governator and such I'd expect better. Billie mentioned it was in an interview (don't ask me which one ), and went on to say he'd like it if Mike wrote more lyrics. I don't think it's bad, it's just a different type of song to those.
