Okay, so: I've been staring at this place through Google Earth for as long as I can remember, but the entire area is surrounded by electric fences, so getting in there seemed impossible. But we went there anyway, just to be there, you know? So after a few minutes of driving past abandoned factories and graffiti and really rough neighborhoods, we finally reached the building. And it was cool. I mean, I didn't see anything, but cool. And not thirty seconds later, there was a pick-up truck driving towards the building. He stopped outside the fence and went out. I explained to him that I'm on vacation from Sweden and all I wanted to do is to take a picture of that door. And obviously he said yes. He opened the door for us. After hyperventilating through some pictures, I asked him if he's ever met Green Day. "I work for them" he said. Shocked, I asked him if he could tell them that Melina said hi and that they practically saved her life. "Sure thing!" Grateful and on the verge of tears, I told him that he should tell them to get to Sweden as soon as possible. "Sure, I'd love to go there again" he said. I. Can't. Believe. What. Just.
