From where may I ask?

As Heather said people have stolen it from Jakob's facebook. He doesn't have a public facebook. He has a public twitter and new IG and it is posted on neither. He has said numerous times that he has no public facebook. However every damn time he posts a family photo or one including Billie it gets stolen. People are pathetic.

I've seen that picture a million times but I only now just realized... is Snoop proudly holding a Green Day guitar pick?

Best New Year's Eve performance ever! So cool that Snoop remembers it fondly :D

Now wait just a second. We don't know that Snoop remembers it fondly. For all we know he blacked out that night and just saw the picture on the internet, thought it was fake, but thought it was an amusing photoshop edit and just wants the meme action.

But in all seriousness I do like to think that he saw that Green Day was being inducted into the hall of fame and remembered his "nephews from Oakland" (as he kept calling them that night) and wanted to show off their brotherhood.

I love Snoop, but this is exactly what I was thinking. He just wanted to show that he was friends with the new inductees, some free publicity. Why else would you post a 10 year old photo???

He enjoyed sharing the stage with them too much for it to be anything but a happy memory :P. And I totally need to watch it now

Just because it's nearly New Years again probably

I love Snoop, the performance was great and memorable and I'm sure he loved sharing the stage with him. But this is Snoop, he was going for some free publicity with the newly inducted Rock and Roll Hall of Famers. I wouldn't expect anything less from Snoop. :)

Since I missed on so much stuff and I see most things when you drag them out of the archive in your mind...I really enjoyed this, thanks. :)

Snoop Dogg posted this on instagram. "New Years 2004"

Oh God, can we please go back to 2004, except I'm not an awkward 13-year-old anymore? I miss 30-year-old Billie. Now he's got a dad beard.

I thought the Snoop picture was more to do with it being almost New Years than anything to do with HOF.

I'd assume it is, too. Especially since it's like a 10-year anniversary type thing. People do #TBT type photos all the time, and it's almost New Years, and Green Day is (arguably) the most relevant they've been since the 21CB era ended.

Wait, how are Green Day at all relevant right now? They've been functionally dead for almost a year. Rock Hall hardly changes that.

In terms of mainstream headlines, I mean. I'd argue I've seen more news stories about them making the rock hall (good or bad) than I did when they released the trilogy, which was hardly a blip on the map of the music scene (besides iHeartRadio, of course).
