Someone sent GDA a link where you could buy the guitar from a Japanese retailer. The price comes in just under $3000USD.

Another beautiful Billie guitar out of my price range.

They aren't going to get any cheaper than list price of LP Jr or Double Cut LP Jr.... So you're going to have to spend &1,000+ to get one

The words artist signature + Gibson + hollow body does not equal cheap...

I know, if the quality matches the price it's worth it though.

Still nothing on Gibson's homepage, even though the guitar's been for sale for weeks.

Btw, does anyone know why there's 2 pickguards with the Billie Joe ES-137?

Here, the guitar has the "regular" black pickguard: http://www.thomann.de/at/gibson_es_137_billy_joe_armstrong.htm

Here, the pickguard is white: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-Gibson-CUSTOM-SHOP-Billie-Joe-Armstrong-Signature-ES-137-Limited-Edition-/231175467575

What's up with this?

The seller probably changed the pick guard. Easy enough to do.
