For now I am just going to say I didn't know Spotify counted so many decimal points until I saw my number 🫣

Unsurprisingly Fancy Sauce is my most heard song. Although if you gave me a couple more months (or weeks) Black Eyeliner would have been an easy second

Top Artist: Green Day, top .05% of listeners.
Top Songs: All from Saviors, with Dilemma at #1. At .005% of listeners (which I find a bit difficult to believe with the number of streams mentioned there, but.)

What did surprise me was seeing The Longshot as my #5 artist - I know I had that album on repeat for a bit, but I didn't expect it to make that much of a difference.

I'm surprised by my top songs.  It had me in the top .001% for OEB.  When I chose a song from Saviors, I tended to go with Dilemma, LIT20s, Goodnight Adeline, or Suzi Chapstick.  Hell, I thought Black Haired Girl would be on the list.  I picked that one more than any other the past few months.

We are percentage buddies! 👋 I'm also top 0.005%, but you beat me in the minutes, I "only" have 21,716. Not sure if I should be proud or mortified by any of these numbers

Top song is Fancy sauce, I'm in the 0.001% of listeners with 268 streams? I'm a bit disappointed in everyone, including myself. That is not even 1 listen per day on average 😅 After Fancy Sauce, top songs are Bobby Sox, Dilemma, 1981 and Goodnight Adeline... a bit surprised about that last one, as I choose Strange Days and Saviors way more often. I'm guessing it due to the order of the album. If I am listening while doing something else, I'll often go back and reply Bobby Sox after it's passed, but not immediately because I'm doing something else. But if I'm in the second play of Bobby Sox I might then skip OEB in the second pass.

I saw people in the reddit thread that had over 200,000.

I only started using Spotify in October so my numbers are quite low but already very Green Day orientated, Dilemma was my top song which surprised me.

Lowlife was my #2 most played song and it only came out in October

0.0005% is crazy 😯

You've got to be getting towards number 1 listener.

Also I wouldn't believe that Reddit thread. As per that song from Rent, 200,000+ minutes would literally be half of the year. So unless they've got saviors on ten hours a day, every single day, that's BS.

I was also top 0.005% with 18,154 minutes. What's kinda crazy about that is, I didn't listen to much GD this year before I saw them in Atlanta on August 28. They were so great it made me want to revisit their whole catalog, so I have been listening to pretty much nothing but them and their side projects while at work.

Top 5 songs: 1)Last Night on Earth, 2)Oh Love, 3)Brutal Love, 4)Dilemma, 5)Still Breathing.

Obviously they were my number one. The Longshot ended up at number 4.

top song for me was Going to Pasalaqcua followed by Armitage Shanks, then Longview, then Chump (which was a surprise to me) and then to round out my top 5, Suffocate

  • 2 weeks later...

This would probably never happen but what if Green Day did “the rock opera tour” and played deep cuts of 21st century breakdown in addition to American idiot’s.  That’d be 🔥
