That Dude
Finally I have found something Green Day related near me! Project Chimp is in Georgia, a totally doable drive. Woohoo! I might volunteer one day.

Rumpelstiltskin2000
It's so weird when you look at the Hella Mega page on Wikipedia the list is so short. I get the logic of not including the GD only dates but just makes it look like there were barely any shows. Don't know if that makes sense https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hella_Mega_Tour
Popular Post Montclare
When you whistle the "I was sober now I'm drunk again" part in Dilemma, it sounds like Joe Jackson's Is She Really Going Out with Him. 3

We need new stuff to talk about.

Popular Post solongfromthestars
It's criminal that we'll probably never hear Brutal Love or Forever Now live again. Without a doubt the best closers and also some of the best songs Green Day have ever released. You can't change my mind. 9

Yosuke Hanamura
(Probably) A hot take. I prefer how Minority was played early into the Warning Tour; where it just had a bass breakdown rather than a guitar and harmonica fanfare. Not to say I don't enjoy how it's played now, I guess it just felt more energetic how it was played then.
Billie Hoe
back when i was a huge green day fan (up until a couple of years ago before i realised celebrity worship is worthless and stopped putting hopes and expectations in people), my brain used to make up elaborate fake scenarios and daydreams about a certain frontman being my real dad/adoptive dad which consumed my daily life (i have issues) but it “got better” when i stopped investing so much time and energy in this band. I didn’t really listen to their songs at all or keep up with news so i kinda stopped caring altogether. then a couple of months ago i bought a ticket for a show which is next week and i thought well guess what. 🤡
pacejunkie punk
Listening to Jesse Malin’s The Art of Self Destruction from 2003 and notice there’s a song on there called Cigarettes and Violets. Can’t help but think about C&V which would have been happening around the same time (2002). It’s interesting. Who inspired who? 1
Popular Post Thatsername
After returning from three shows of the Saviors Tour so far, I'm still full of adrenaline and on a Green Day high That was a dosis of happiness and love I needed very, very much this time. They truly are my saviors over and over again, for the last 20 years. Thank you Green Day😭 Please do this for many, many more years to come. It is completely beyond me how someone can not be in love with this band. 4

That Dude
Looking at the band's albums on wikipedia, they have all "received generally favorable reviews" except Father of All, which got "mixed reviews".

Montclare
Just realized the solo in Goodnight Adeline reminds me a bit of Prima Donna's Bless This Mess.
The 99th revolution
I don't know how related this may be, but I was browsing on setlist.fm and excuse me, what? Black Sabbath by Iron Maiden? This is the best mix up.
Thatsername
The post-GD-tour-void is kicking in right now😢 On the one hand I feel so happy and grateful that I was able to attend 4 shows and I'm full of wonderful memories, but on the other hand I already miss them and the time between tours is always so long.
PhuzzyPhriend
I wasn't sure where to post this, but are we really going to ignore the fact that it is Billie and Adrienne's 30th wedding anniversary?! Surprised that no one has sad anything about it today.
