Fucking tiermakers. Why, just why? Why does anyone ever think that their hot take is to have Dookie as their 5th favorite album? Where are THE REAL hot takes, like putting FOAM to the top and AI to the bottom? Why is anyone bothering to even make list of GD albums if it's just copy and paste from other redditors? I love tiermakers when they generate good discussion and also have some other explanation behind rankings, not just ''hehee heres my hot take we can now stop doing these'' and then still having Nimrod/Dookie/AI/21stCB at the top.

Even if there is a stupid thing called ''shitpost sunday'' shouldn't mean that I see 50 different rankings of GD albums in the same order. Where are the memes? Where are obvious shitposts? Fuck, even FOAM and its beautiful cover art is too boring and no one is making fun of it anymore. Same shit gets reposted to the death. Goddammit. I wanna like that subreddit but goddammit at its current state it's just so fucking bad that it makes me mad.

Anyways, I've once again just recently watched Irving Plaza 2012 performance. It's the best show to drink some alcohol while watching. If you're old enough, have no problems with alcohol and wanna get wasted with Green Day, just play some drinking games while watching Irving Plaza 2012. Some obvious rules like ''drink when billie says hey-oh'' or ''drink when billie has weird face on'' will get you shitfaced very quickly with this show, but rules like ''drink 3 times when billie shouts new york city'' and ''drink when mike is laughing'' will also do the job just well. Trust me, my hangover agrees with it.

Bring back Nuclear Family. Such a great and energetic live song ❤️

I was looking at the setlists of other artists in the same category as Green Day.  Pearl Jam, System of a Down, Weezer.  and just as I thought, every band has 3 songs that they play into eternity.   Pretty normal, no biggy.  But the abnormality was Weezer.  They haven't been around as long Green Day, but dear goodness their most played songs are over 1000 plays where Green Day have only 800 or 900 plays on one song. 

I guess it's because Green Day were around for a while before amassing the Mega hits and Weezer started with a bunch of hits.

According to shots of handwritten track lists from the sessions, Stuck With Me was called Alright.

A new coworker was wearing a Green Day shirt today (one of the ones that's been sold at Hella Mega) and so I asked her if she was a big GD fan. She said no, but her best friend is and they'd gone the Seattle show that I went to. She also saw the RevRad show when they were here in 2017. I need to ask her to introduce me to this friend of hers!

I went to see GD live at Hyde Park in 2017, and I remember them being so electrifying live, but never being able to get into it at the risk of looking uncool and I remember considering the mosh pit but I was like 13 at the time and so that probably wouldn't have been particularly sensible. I 'm also rly annoyed a bootleg of that show hasn't surfaced yet.

Just watched the full Life Is Beautiful show on YouTube, Jason Freese needs to be toned down considerably with that damn electric organ!  Don’t like it much to begin with  but its way too much!

I heard some comments like that before but I didn’t notice personally when I watched the full concert footage. I’ll probably watch it again and give it a better listen. The show in general looked so good though I loved it! Everyone was amazing and I loved Billie Joe’s frontman performance. He was so funny and lively and also handsome and I loved it so much! I loved the energy. I’m going to watch it again right now. From what I remember the performance was fire 🔥 so hot and good! Best of anything I saw from Hella Mega clips in all the other cities with all the elements and all cylinders firing.

Thanks for the inspiration to watch it again  I kinda was just all over the flash of how amazing fun the show looked. I bet it was the funnest show of the tour. I’m going to keep a closer ear on the mix. That’s important too.

Yet they neglected to include Highway 1. They had the power and they blew it.
