Here are some of my random thoughts during it: - Man, Welcome to Paradise is such a good opener. - Fuck I'm so glad I heard Murder City live back in 2013. Someone give Billie Joe his cigarettes ASAP! - Oh, this is where ''all i got to do tonight is to fuck my wife'' line came from, completely forgot it. - Kill the DJ was surprisingly good live, minus weird ''oh-oh'' after solo. - Holy shit Oh Love was horrible live song. It simply was too boring. - Please bring back Stop When the Red Lights Flash for even one more show. That song is a banger. - Burnout really works on E Standard, just like other Dookie songs. - Man, Billie Joe was feeling REALLY good during Brain Stew. - I can understand very clearly now why most of the oldies don't get played too often; they're easily forgettable, especially 409 In Your Coffeemaker. - Trying to remember how 86 goes was very fun part during the show. - At the Library is simply amazing. - During Paper Lanterns I started to notice how Billie's voice is starting to wear down. No wonder, they've already played 30 songs at this point. - F.O.D was fucking amazing and I don't even like that song. - Jesus how annoying King for a Day is. Not the song itself, but it just kept going on for hours. - Wake Me Up When September Ends was simply sad mess. Only one who played it well was Mike. - That infamous ''billie vomiting during american idiot'' is still weird. It just looks like a big spit. - 99 Revolutions was a great opener, but horrible encore, especially with its dull lyrics which were already outdated when this show was played (September 2012). - That being said, I love how chaotic that ending was. Billie Joe never wanted to stop. Aaaand here are some overall thoughts after I was done watching it: - The Boys™ were fucking rocking it. - Even with Billie's problems, he managed to remember most of the lyrics for (debatable) 40 songs, he shredded with guitar from start to finish and never stopped engaging with the crowd. Gotta respect that. - Wait, they didn't play Basket Case? I always remembered that they didn't play Boulevard and Jesus of Suburbia on this show, but seems like I misremembered it. - I still don't buy that story that multi-millionaire and very famous Billie Joe woke up in some random park in New York goddamn City and no one seemed to care/notice/etc. - That room was hot as hell, I wonder how many celsius were inside during the end. All in all, my favorite show from my favorite era. Simply amazing setlist with very little annoying parts, like King For A Day. Amazing breakdown commentary. Where can one watch this Irving Plaza 2012 show? I’ll try to google it. I think I found it. Thanks for letting me know this exists it looks amazing. Very much looking forwarding to watching this

Popular Post RedundantIdiot
Happy Birthday Bang Bang! How are you 5 already?! I can vividly recall rushing in from work to listen to it for the first time, and the Rev Rad era was the soundtrack to one of the best times of my life.

The Grohl
I was looking at a GD magazine cover from 2009 and my boyfriend says look how much younger they look! I said well Billie looks the same. He says Billie looks like someone who's about 50. 😤 Rude. He's not a fangirl so he doesn't get it 🤣 3

I used to buy two or more copies lol 😆 when I was younger. I don’t even know how many copies of Rolling Stone with GD on the cover I have had and lost or destroyed and cut up and lost ripped with tape etc. Def not alone with that. Some of my friends I grew up with did and still do the same things. Green Day fans that are fans for life are the best. Now I do buy magazines still but just one and keep the one all in one piece. Now I’m an organized mature grownup (not).
Popular Post Slave To The Network
My mom and dad were watching this movie while I was in the living room doing my own thing and one of the characters (male) had a little bit of eyeliner on and my mom says "And this guy's trying to be Billie Joe Armstrong."

Virginia Lot Lizard
Is this tour not having media interviews and promo? I don’t know if it’s the pandemic and being isolated or what. Aren’t there usually interviews from the road? That coupled with no tweets or non-stage Instagram stories (except for Tré in the shower etc) is making this such a dull time for some of us that won’t attend a show. Maybe that’s for the best. Maybe everyone has got anxiety behind the scenes and just wants to get through this. Or maybe there are interviews and news and I just fully missed them. I could be completely wrong and maybe I just have to bother doing a Google search.
jengd
I think this tour is quiet as there are no interviews this time around. I am seeing the stuff the band is posting, some reviews and the rest is fans posting and sharing. I put it down to the whole COVID thing.
Beerjeezus
There weren’t many interviews during revrad tour either (except for the famous Chicago interview) and almost none for the trilogy tour too.

The Wrigley Field press conference from 2017 was a special treat that was beyond our expectations
MillenniumFan
I had the weirdest "realisation" today lmao. I've always had a slight hunch that this might be the case (which I always dismissed as ridiculous), but as it turns out, by putting pictures side to side I actually look a lot more similar to Billie than I thought. We still look somewhat different of course, for instance I'd say his face/head is perhaps a tiny bit wider than mine and (maybe more visibly) his nose is also narrower, plus I have hazel to brown-ish eyes, but holy shit, otherwise and especially from a side-angle we look scarily alike, like, in terms of lips, eyes & eyebrows, head/ jaw shape, nose "curvature", everything. I happen to have red hair though (like, naturally) and a completely different hair style, so at present it's pretty much impossible to conflate us two, hence why I dismissed previous thoughts of us being at all similar as absurd. That said, this really makes me want to dye my hair jet-black and try out one of Billie's hairstyles just for the fun of it I'm somewhat weary of doing that right now (due to the risks involved or whatever), but hey, at least this gives me a fun thing to try out once my hair starts greying (if I don't go bald first).
Popular Post Flashback
I just realized that - back in 2016/2017 - I did not appreciate the RevRad era enough. But it‘s such an amazing album (I mean perfect start and ending with Somewhere Now and Forever now) and such a great tour where everyone seemed to have so much fun!
