That Dude
I've begun writing a deep dive into the life and career of Chris Dugan. Sure, nobody's lined up around the block for Mr. Dugan, but he's kind of a B+ list celebrity and deserves the spotlight now and again. I just hope I don't run into too much RED TAPE in my research. That would suck if RED SLEEVE TAPE or RED KEYBOARD TAPE were to get in my way.
Annie, get your gun
You know when the band releases a new record and the reporter ask them "what's next?" It's a question that always bother me, BUT now that The Network is back with their new record, I hope that the Foxboro Hot Tubs do the same some day I remember being too new in the forum when their ep came out so I wasn't so aware of them, I only read the news from GDA. It would be great, they should do the Foxies again.

So it is a pretty silly question especially if they released new material not long ago, but I'll let you in on a secret...it's because they often don't know how to end the interview

There are thousands of ways to do it... 😔 "You rock, Green Day!" it's one of them lol

It's like you want the interview to come to a natural conclusion and asking "what's next" is a way to do it. What's next also gives whoever they're talking to room for them to plug whatever. Like next is the tour blah blah blah. Or other interviewers have agendas, like their editors might suggest they need to ask that. I don't know, everywhere is different. I'm just going by my experience. 1

But I get what you mean of the tour, etc. It's not exactly the next album. On a side note, did I mention tours make me anxious as well? We're always last on the list. For obvious reasons, I know, but still 😖

I'm always afraid they're gonna pull the whole "Hey Chicago, we're coming to see you!" and then they're going to Tinley Park, which is not Chicago at all and difficult to get to on public transportation. Also, I'm always afraid that whatever tour it is will be my last chance to see the band or that it'll take them forever to come back to my city >_< I know Chicago is a major tour spot, but look at Prima Donna. They haven't been here in ages!!!
Beerjeezus
I’m so grateful to my past self for making the decision to see two shows last tour. Makes the current situation less painful. I didn’t have much luck with shows in my career as a fan - missed out on seeing them on the 21CB tour, then the Trilogy tour didn’t come here and now everything got cancelled. RevRad was a nice exception.

But I think that you can relax, you're on the same country and that increases your chances a lot, and Chicago is also a big city, they won't leave it behind. We have to stay positive! 1 minute ago, Beerjeezus said: I’m so grateful to my past self for making the decision to see two shows last tour. Makes the current situation less painful. Surprisingly certain artists seem to skip Chicago. Rob Zombie always goes to bum fuck Illinois instead. Smaller bands like Dead Sara and Prima Donna usually tour the East and West Coast and skip the midwest. Either way, tours make me anxious There's always something to worry about whether it's buying tickets or getting a good spot or whatever. Yet, I keep torturing myself by continuing to go to shows 🤔
Little Boy Named Booze
Yeah in East Canada it's always Toronto and Montreal lol. At least Quebec City is becoming more and more popular for big bands.
pacejunkie punk
Pittsburgh gets skipped a lot by medium sized bands I’ve gotten used to traveling to Philly to see shows that only hit bigger markets. Sucks though, more time and money involved so I’ll only do it for certain bands.

Don't even mention me getting the spot/ticket 😅 it makes me want to cry.

Maybe Kevin will be like "Hmmm hey guys we should go to Chicago. That person that said hi to me one time in that note is there." Or "Hey let's go to Chicago. I hear I have a mini fan club there and I think we owe them a visit." Though I won't forgive him for [hypothetically] killing me.
MarriedtoMikeDirnt
I bet it was fun for (not) Green Day to record The Network albums. They probably had a blast. Just when I thought the Snoo songs on part 2 were better than Hungry Hungry Models, that song played on every device in my house. It was super cool, but at the same time, it's kinda weird. Unrelated, but I was wrong. Hungry Hungry Models is still the best Snoo song.

But if they were to have recorded some footage, then that means that they're gonna give up the shtick and come clean. I doubt they'd put in the effort to stay in character while recording. Or maybe they'll get a wind of inspiration and start working on a documentary for us once the world is functioning again. (One where they remember that they're not Green Day). 1
pacejunkie punk
I can't even imagine them recording these songs without the masks and costumes, though of course they did. I hadn't thought of that
Joe.
Billie Joe's backing vocals in Wedding Bell Blues fit the song so nicely, end up listening to them more than the actual lyrics.
