That hair and pants are perfect. While I prefer him with black hair, blonde hair in that style somehow also suits him very well. And those are my favorite pair of his pants. _{Of course ideally he would be wearing no pants but that will probably never happen again please don't hurt me now LOL.}

I've always loved the 2005 TOTP performance. One of my very favorites! But the only videos I've ever had of it are like 360p quality or less and I've frequently been sad about that because I can't see the band in all their glory due to super pixely footage. Last night I decided to search and see if there are better quality recordings and I actually found the full show in almost HD quality. I literally squealed with joy!  Now I can watch my favorite performances of Novacaine, JOS, St. Jimmy etc. in high quality whenever I want!

Try just copying and pasting the link (don’t click). I haven’t ever had issues with mega not working and I’m in the US.

edit: use a desktop/laptop. Not a tablet or smartphone.

I wish I could see an opportunity to see this band. I have a low income, I wish tickets could be cheaper. Now I'm actually old enough to go on my own I still can't. It really makes me sour seeing my parents go see their favorite artists live and my siblings. But not me. Never me. It sucks.

Last night I delved into some cringe on youtube and I ended up watching the interview where Billie and the host flirt and now I’m wondering if culture really changed that much in the last decade, because I can’t really imagine something like this happening now without causing social media backlash or a cancelling.

To be fair if it’s the one I’m thinking of he was high as fuck but yeah by today’s standards I doubt any of his onstage antics with fans from 2004-2010 would be tolerated today.

Yeah I’m not holding it against him since he was out of it and more importantly, it seemed like everything was happening with her consent - it’s just strange looking back at stuff that went unnoticed not so long ago and realize it’d probably be problematic now.

I should probably know better now than to wade into any of these discussions, so let me try to say something compassionate here. I have not seen these interviews and maybe I will go watch them if I have nothing better to do, but working just from what was said here, this sounds more awkward than predatory (especially given that people are acknowledging this was consensual). Billie was indeed acting pretty bizarre in many ways then, something he has acknowledged since, and he took the initiative to get help and that's something to be proud of. As long as you can learn and grow and own up to your mistakes, that is what matters most (this was what I was trying to say earlier about Jeff Matika). 

I have said this before and I will say it again: I am sick of cancel culture because all it does is enable people to feel holier-than-thou by pointing fingers at others while doing nothing to solve the actual problem. Kinda like how we "cancelled" Aunt Jemima instead of doing anything meaningful about systemic racism in criminal justice, health care, education, etc. Now, Aunt Jemima was pretty insensitive and I am glad she is gone, but to the best of my knowledge she never killed anyone; systemic racism kills people of color every day. And the problem with sexual harassment is not anything described above, but rather the use of sex to exert power and control over others--and fixing that requires changing a patriarchal system. Rant over now.

Also, we all know about Billie beating the crap out of somebody he saw abusing a kid, Mike intervening when a woman was being groped, etc. Billie has always been very outspoken in both words and actions against sexism and sexual violence. Doesn't make him perfect--no one is--but I would say he is definitely on the right side of the issue. Just gonna leave some goodies here.

I agree - I wouldn’t say it’s a positive change that it’s now possible to get cancelled over dumb but harmless behavior. It takes away the focus and credibility from real issues.

I am so glad we agree on something.  And if I ever meet Billie, I definitely intend to flirt with him, and I have a feeling I am not the only person on this page who would (and obviously I would stop and apologize if he in anyway started vibing that he was uncomfortable, but I have a feeling he would find it funny and play along LOL). 

But yeah, I in no way care about two stoned adult celebrities flirting LOL. I do care about fixing the justice system so rapists stop getting slaps on the wrist, especially when they are white and wealthy. I care about being able to make my own health care decisions with my doctor rather than having my employer or the government tell me what I can do with my body. I care about being able to go to work and not having to put up with harassment as a condition of employment, while also not being pushed to the margins because my gender somehow makes me a threat. I care about getting paid the same as a man for doing the same damn job (which fortunately I do because my union's contract mandates the pay scales for everyone at each seniority rank, but many women are not that lucky). These are the issues we should all be working on.
