Sauli
No, it's not a problem to me at all. i hate Green Day and Nirvana and hard rock bands, I only listen to The Rolling Stones, The Mamas and Papas, and the Steve Miller Band Lol wut. I just meant that if they really have a good range of rare old artists' records, I need to find that place. Because good retro record shops are kinda hard to find. At least here. I never find any Left Banke or the Incredible String Band records and it bugs me. T The most prolific period for hard rock was the 70s. Agreed. And another point I gotta make is that hair metal is the msot embarrassing genre ever. Even AOR or glam rock pr europop /disco/whatever have had some high points but hair metal was just entirely embarrassing.
Todd
Nothing better than getting in the car after a 12 hour work day and having Welcome to Paradise start on the radio right as you turn on the car.

Hair metal basically suffered the same fate as all musical genres do: second-/third-/fourth-rate bands show up, everything becomes shitty (or shittier, depending on your POV), making them ripe for destruction. Backyard Skulls
I decided to listen to the saints are coming again. I remember trying to watch the YouTube video back when I had dial-up and it took like half an hour to buffer I still have the physical single and remember being absolutely raging when Akon got number 1 in the charts that week but yeah it's not that great like Billie sounds okay but I've never been keen on U2 so bono ruins it lmao. Cruise
I am wondering if this video is actually available anywhere else apart from my video on youtube. It is a promo video they released on their website before the release of GD Rock Band. It was East Jesus Nowhere with only the background video with none of the games UI, so there are no cords or score. The only thing on it the games logo. When they released it, it was just a link to a download, they never uploaded it to a video site. I haven't been able to find any source of the video since they first released it. Todd
I am GDA's official animal expert. I answer all non-Green Day questions related to animals. Pat1308
I think GD's catchiest songs are not necessarily/do not necessarily have to be their strongest songs (lyrically or musically). Case in point: stuff like KYE or Chump. They aren't the peak of Billie's songwriting career, but they sure as hell damn rock. Speaking of KYE: after hearing how they play it live, I'll never look at the album version the same way again. KYE is one of those songs that are better when you play it hard, fast, and raw. I just felt the album version was a tad too slow - not to mention the instruments are kinda weak. And oh god Billie's vocals. (Honestly, I never really liked how Billie sounds in 21CB.)
