JAPAN AND A NEW LIVE DVD THIS SUMMER I HOPE SO :sorry:

No offence, but I take the liberty of being sceptical of anything you say after that whole Back In The USA ,,leak‘‘ sham (I know you’re not making a prediction here btw, but still...).

Honestly, of all the things I could stomach or even be in favour of giving up when it comes to future live tours (since it is so definitely in need of a refresh) this would be the absolutely last thing (next to ending the show with Good Riddance). Nothing gets the crowd going better than that song!

I agree. I remember seeing GD for the first time and hearing everyone singing that song together...it was wonderful. I feel like over time concerts have lost that sense of camaraderie they used to have. I watch old show clips and you see people who don't know each other chatting like they've been friends forever. I'm not saying it doesn't happen at all anymore, but at least in my experience, it's rare. But singing Bohemian Rhapsody with thousands of others recaptures that and I love it.

I love how completely into it people get, every single person doing their best Freddy impressions, including me and I don’t even like the song 😂

Yeah, I know.  I could take this to the unpopular opinions thread.  People really don't believe me too, it's quite funny.

I've listened to Walk Away on repeat these last few weeks. Great song, despite the whole "parachute/a used pair of shoes"-part of the song..

Just nicknamed my Starbucks card Oakland Coffee.  Because I'm a dork.

I thought rhyming parachute with pair of shoes was actually kind of clever 🧐

Literally my favourite thing about the song . It's inspired.

Did you win, or maybe did you lose / Now you're gonna lick your wounds anyway, when it goes back to you

The bigger that you come, the hardest you're gonna fall

All the song is so good

If they stop playing Forever Now on their next tour I will cry.

I mean... Out of all the other post AI albums, KYE is the only song that's regularly played... The RevRad songs might suffer the same fate as 21CB and the trilogy

Before I became a GD fan, I'd never heard the phrase "basket case", but now it crops up everywhere - and I start freaking out every single time.

As 21st CB is 10 years old next year, if GD tour next year, I hope that they will play something other than just KYE and 21 Guns (not that I dislike either).

I guess that's what Green Day do to you - today I saw a chapter in a book I need to read titled "The Revolution at Radio" and freaked out for a second when I read the words, even though I know it has nothing to do with GD

I kind of doubt they'll start touring already next year, since that's quite soon tbh. However, it would be the perfect year to do atlas something, because (as I think I mentioned) there's a kind of triple anniversary event: 21CB - 10 years, AI - 15 years, Dookie - 25 years. So, it would be absolutely mad from a promotional perspective not do anything in that year...

Still, there's plenty of stuff they could do before embarking on another full-fleshed world tour again. I kind of have these wild fantasies of them releasing a ton of bonus material (in box sets or special editions for example), such as B-sides, demos, artwork, live concerts etc. Or even wilder, going on a mini / club tour and playing either Dookie/AI/21CB or all three from front to back (though that's kind of overkill ). Still, I'm excited to see what they'll end up doing...

I had a cool idea — if they did a tour of small clubs and at each one drew a card at the beginning to see which album they’d play and then they play that one album all the way through.

Cool idea, but I think (if in a parallel universeI they actually decided to do that) they should limit it to those three albums though, because learning all the songs from all albums would be pretty hard lol

Yeah, that would definitely be more practical 😁
