Went to see the AI musical with Dad last night for a 16th birthday present. On the way back we listened to the studio album in the car, and he laughed at the burning photographs line in Whatsername. I mean, the album came out in 2004 and that idea made sense for a century before, so it's kind of funny how it's now out of date.

That’s true. Today I guess you would say you deleted the photos.

Then Road to Acceptance - I've always appreciated that one for referring to racism, but as a piece of music, I've never been able to get into it. Listened to it today though and it's so fucking good!

I love Road To Acceptance, for the music, for the lyrics, it's amazing

Spoiler

I saw yesterday an interview where Billie mentions that song, as saying he would like it to be in a Green Day video game:

Revolution Radio - Never been a huge fan of the song, but it's okay. I fucking love that intro though!

I've loved Revolution Radio from the start. Don't find it meh in any way.

I'm editing photos right now and listening to Forever Now at the same time, which means I've been furiously hitting the Enter key along to the tune and made Photoshop crash. Sad!

Does anyone else feel like Troubled Times sounds better when you're in a car/driving? When RevRad first came out, I couldn't get into TT, but then it came on when I was in the car and I fell in love with it. I still love it now, but everytime I hear it, it feels like I should be in a car.

We are livin' in troubled times. Crazy women tweeting about hating Green Day. Does she really love them that much?? She wants Billie, you see how upset she is cause she cannot have him.

Oh I forgot to mention, (adding to the list of reasons to love @Jane Lannister) thanks to a 2am tip off  I ended up travelling 4 1/2 hours by train last week to catch a high school production (and "official Norwegian premiere") of the AI musical! Despite having to endure a gang of teens' home alone party at the airbnb and falling on my ass down a flight of stairs the next morning (still hurts) it was totally worth it, they were so fucking talented and passionate and tight and amazing. Like, for a gang of non-professionals the skill and production level was so high. I cried. And Billie would've been so proud.

I'm so glad you had a good time

It isn't totally out of date. Instax film by Fujifilm are very popular. They were one of the top selling products during the last holidays period.

Yeah totally! That, and the fact that the number of vinyl sales is rising makes me kind of hopeful that the world might not go down the drain after all.

I saw something about AI musical coming to Norway on FB a while ago but wasn't sure if it's legit, I wanted to ask if someone knew about it on GDC but then I forgot... I'm really happy to hear that it actually happened and that you had a great time!! So cool that it was brought to another country.

Yeah that might've been same thing Jane saw. I dismissed it at first because it was so far away and not necessarily super legit, but looking at their social media it seemed promising so I thought why the fuck not

I feel like Rest is one of those songs that gets boring if you listen to it regularly, but if you don't listen to it often, it feels so refreshing when you finally do listen to it.

I don't even know where to post this, but I finally found Shenanigans on Vinyl out here in Australia and freaked out!

I thought you would all understand.

Actually I've always thought that song is underrated. I have fond memories of listening to it when I was like 15.
