With all of the women (rightly so) coming forward with stories of sexual harassment, and with Green Day being very political and the right hating them so much, could any of the guys be vulnerable to accusations? I'm just thinking about Billie on stage both when he was young and without a filter, or when he was under the influence and without a filter, and you all know what I'm talking about. Granted, he's a rock star, but as rock stars go he has been very sexual on stage. I've never seen evidence of anyone being truly upset or feeling attacked, and I personally think it's all theater (including kissing young girls on the lips). But still haters could go after him. Anyone else had this thought? Also I've heard the Tre was very, very wild back in the day. Mike I haven't seen much about in this regard. He's never initiated kisses with women on stage, he's let them kiss him but he won't be the one to start it and as a result it's rare that he's kissed women. The worst he did was give a few dudes an unexpected kiss when they came up to play Knowledge back in Warning times, but the vast majority of the time it's been either a mutual thing or the fan initiating it, and friendly rather than sexual/romantic kisses. And sexual stuff on stage hasn't involved other people. I don't think there's anything to worry about, or much point in speculating about it. We certainly don't need to speculate about the guys' personal lives off stage.
Popular Post Maddie86
So I listened to my Pinhead Gunpowder records this morning, and then I decided to listen to some Replacements albums because of PHGP's cover of Achin To Be. I looked at the credits and The Replacements' "Don't Tell A Soul" album was mixed by Chris Lord-Alge, who mixed a lot of green day albums, and the album "All Shook Down" was produced by Scott Litt, who was originally supposed to produce Warning. neat! Also, I think I remember an interview where Billie said that before Butch Vig they were considering a female producer for 21st CBD, I forget her name though, anyone remember? I'd love to see a woman producer involved with a GD album! I remember Billie said she had a lot of great ideas

I think they had her in the studio for a short time or met with her or whatever in the early stages, at the same time they were making Stop Drop and Roll. I guess in the end it didn't work out and they decided on Butch Vig instead but it does sound like she had some kind of influence (on one or both albums, not sure which exactly but I know she was mentioned in connection to SDR as well), with Billie saying she had great ideas etc. She's worked with soooo many different kinds of acts and is a really big name producer and songwriter so definitely would've been interesting!

It actually looks like a pretty cool shirt... until you take into consideration the circumstances behind it. I'm presuming there are some people out there that don't know or care about those circumstances and would be willing to buy it, and there will always be people that will exploit that for profit. 52 minutes ago, pacejunkie punk said: I’ve also seen a t-shirt with the image of his mug shot on it. I’d be so embarrassed to run into him there while wearing that. Then again, he has a sense of humor about it because when someone used it to make a Shut Up Greg meme he reposted it so the choice of photo obviously didn’t bother him.

Beerjeezus
The silhouette looks very good on the t-shirt. But I don't understand why would anybody want to wear this.

Some might have felt bad after but more casual fans might not have cared. 😕

I probably wouldn't feel so bad for him if I didn't know he wasn't doing well or what a good performer he normally is.

Plus he's made jokes about it himself (as well as about many other things that aren't necessarily a laughing matter), he's not one to be easily offended. It's in such poor taste I just have to laugh, someone actually topped the mugshot one

For someone who doesn't really know and/or care about it and about Billie, it's probably funny, although it makes all true fans cringe. Maybe Warners wouldn't though, maybe when that contract runs out, they could sneak it out on an indie label.

Someone made a giant fleece blanket out of the iHeart Radio scene with Billie’s pants pulled down and put the blanket on top of their tent while they waited in line overnight for the Chicago show. It happens a lot more than you’d think, but I don’t understand it either. It makes me uncomfortable.

I don't find it very funny either. (Even though I admit I laughed. What a dick that person had to be, really.) Some people just like to be assholes when they see someone vulnerable. My fb wall was full of jokes about Chester Bennington dying for several days after it happened. I don't really understand why exactly people act like that but I often see lots of bad jokes after a celebrity passes away - and I don't think it's fueled by hate, it looks more like they don't realize they're talking about real people and real lives. It's like they lack sensitivity - for them it's just a news story.
