And the world is better for it. Oh man, that movie was....disturbing yet amusing. This song as well. I was laughing and cringing through the whole thing. I'd never believe it was Billie voicing Charlie if I didn't watch the "behind the scenes" video of him doing it.

The most amusing thing is watching it with the "director's commentary" on. John, Billie and Jane Wiedlin drinking wine and being hilarious (and talking about the film a bit).

Oh wow really? I wish I’d known about that I would’ve just watched it that way to begin with! Ugh I have to watch it again now. Maybe next Halloween, haha. This is what I get for stealing it off the internet.

Ok so i had this thought that you know how whenever billie plays a old song live he uses blue? even on television appearances stuff like that, well i had the idea that iheartradio thing might have been planned because when they played longview and basket case he used his double cut jr instead of blue which to my knowledge he never does. so in my mind i thought that he was planning on smashing the guitar because he didn't use blue for basket case because he wasn't going to smash blue,  this is incredibly confusing to me. now don't get me wrong i love billie and the gang with all my heart but i feel that billie when he saw that the time was running out at the end he purposely grabbed his les paul jr and smash it. i was hoping that you guys could help me figure out why he didn't use blue and if he may have pre planned during the performance to smash the guitar. sorry if some of this doesn't make sense

I've been suffering from anxiety since this summer. In these last two months "Apathy has rained on me" literally.
Green Day's songs are relaxing me so much and I am so happy and grateful about this.
If I started to panic and I started shaking I put my headphones on, focusing on song lyrics.

And just like that, the Revolution Radio tour is over, all 120 shows! So surreal somehow...

There were ups and downs, but mostly this was a fantastic tour and I had a fantastic time both on this forum and at the two shows I attended! This tour was a testament to the fact that after more than 26 years of being together as a trio, they still fricking have it! There's no denying these guys still kick some serious ass, even in 2017!

The way I see it, the future of Green Day is bright and it looks like there's many more awesome things still to come!

So, with that being said, after a (short) year of pure and excitement and thrill, let's settle down and see what's in store for this magnificent band!

No one can ever know for sure what will happen, but rest assured, my friends: it's going to be great! After all, this is God's Favorite Band...

...and ours too!

;)

Please write their memoirs

Nah he doesn't always use Blue, it wasn't a regular full length show so not unusual for him not to.

Important update: my radio dude didn't know they had a new song out (figures  ) but appreciates the heads up and might play it next week. I'm calling it a moderate success.

Literally snapped out of a nasty dream this morning just in time for a low key shoutout to this and my dj fam introducing Back in the USA. It's the little things :wub:

This is my new favourite Billie moment

Billie was on fire here in México!

Also, people, how the hell do you cope with the post-concert depression?! I'm fucking dying, I don't know what to do with my life, I've been crying since the show ended and the only thing I've been asking to myself is "Now what?", I'm so happy and sad at the same time I seriously don't know what to do, I hate and love this feeling.

Keep listening to Green Day, remind yourself how awesome it was and how lucky you were to see them at all and join in here desperately hoping for new material! 😁

The one song that's synonymous with doing the national RevRad tour for me is without a doubt Forever Now. I am absolutely gutted imagining it being cut from the set whenever they hit the road again  Seven times isn't enough!

Yeah, it would be really sad if they cut this one, it's so great live. It's also sad that we never got that music video Billie talked about in the summer. We got a really, really cool video for Back in the USA and I love it, but I was really excited for a FN video.

I just listened to the 1000 Hours EP and it really made me wish I had a crush on someone right now. I haven't had a crush in over a year!

Was just re-watching Goat Island and got a kick out of watching Jason when he was on the sidelines.  Air strumming to Longview, Hitchin' a Ride, and 2000 Light Years Away and totally into Blood, Sex, and Booze.

I've had a thought lately and if this is an inappropriate topic then a mod can feel free to delete this comment. With all of the women (rightly so) coming forward with stories of sexual harassment, and with Green Day being very political and the right hating them so much, could any of the guys be vulnerable to accusations? I'm just thinking about Billie on stage both when he was young and without a filter, or when he was under the influence and without a filter, and you all know what I'm talking about. Granted, he's a rock star, but as rock stars go he has been very sexual on stage. I've never seen evidence of anyone being truly upset or feeling attacked, and I personally think it's all theater (including kissing young girls on the lips). But still haters could go after him. Anyone else had this thought? Also I've heard the Tre was very, very wild back in the day. Mike I haven't seen much about in this regard.
