COME AT ME BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! --As you may be able to tell, I'm not exactly a people person Also, what the fuck is wrong with people? 😑 punk rock purists are annoying. (I’m assuming that’s what they’re reacting too because it couldn’t possibly be that they think GD is bad 😡). Though if GD is the only punk band you like they may have a point . The people I always seem to meet don't like punk all that much, and always seem to especially not like Green Day.

Ah, well those people I guess weirdly don't bother me because they're not punk and I just laugh at how they work so hard to conform to society. Joke's on them. My coworker is like this. He looks down on punk and respects that Green Day is like "good in their own way" but still looks down on them. I honestly think GD is one of the most misunderstood bands ever. But anyway, the punk community is the greatest and who needs crappy people in it anyway. Just smile and tell 'em "you wouldn't understand". 5
Popular Post IcyMoffatt
Best history of fashion class yesterday: on my teacher's PowerPoint, she listed Green Day as an example of californian punk fashion from the 1990s. So I wrote Green Day in a big size and traced a rectangle around it in my note book... for academic reasons of course. 2

Yes, she is one of the best teachers I ever had. I sent her the link to Turn It Around movie web site one week ago and, before the class started this week, she told me that she put it to the top of her list of movies she wants to watch. Too bad she will have to wait for the dvd to come out.
Popular Post Marki.
Speaking of classes, I'm lucky enough to attend one focusing on rock music history this semester and this week the teacher couldn't load his presentation, so he spent the time asking students what they think of the stuff he's covered so far (if it led them to listen to more albums by the artists he mentioned and so on). I wasn't really paying attention towards the end, and suddenly I hear a girl somewhere in the back of the classroom saying "I really enjoyed listening to the original versions of the Everly Brothers' songs because I only knew them from the album that Billie Joe Armstrong and Norah Jones did together, which I love to listen to...." Of course, this immediately made me turn my head and inside I was like "who are you and why do we not know each other?!" Always nice to hear someone enjoys the same stuff (or knows it at all).
Beerjeezus
Funny that you so many of you have school-related stories this week. On Wednesday I found a picture of Billie in a magazine we read in my English class. It had an article about gender identity and sexual orientation that included Billie's quote about being bisexual. The magazine sucks so it's a very pleasant surprise. But they could have chosen a better photo than the one from iheart they used though.

RedundantIdiot
This is the conversation I had with dad last night: Me: the other night I watched a video of Billie doing a stage dive. I was howling with laughter Dad: that Billie Joe is 45/46, you know. He needs to start acting his age Like hell will Billie start acting his age! I'm going to show Dad the video later 1

As long as he's not hurting anyone and being responsible where he needs to be (ie with family, legal stuff, etc.) then age is just a number. 3
Popular Post CherryBombs&Gasoline
I always look at other people's phones when I'm on the bus 'cause I want to check out what kind of music they are listening to . A couple of days ago, I could clearly see Mike's face on an orange background, so the guy who was sitting next to me was listening to Dos . 4

CherryBombs&Gasoline
Wouldn't be that bad if they listened to decent music but it's usually stuff that I wouldn't even listen to if someone gave me money for it
The Grohl
I don't care what they're listening to, it's rude. We're on a train - we don't need to hear your music. That's why we have a great invention called headphones
