I yelled that countdown so loud when they pulled that out. Everybody around me was probably like this dude is realllly high!!! While trying to figure out what they were playing. There were a few people I could spot who knew it but it felt like maybe 10% of the crowd knew what was happening.

I was in the car with my brother earlier tonight. He is not a GD fan at all. The song "Good Riddance" came on the radio (the only song he likes) and he started singing along. I asked if he knows what the song is about and he replied, completely serious, "Yeah, it's about the class of '98" - the year he graduated high school. He genuinely believes that. They must have used the song at his graduation or something. Of course he also thought they are from Ireland because they are Green Day, so...

My god, this forum has gone quiet in recent weeks. I think for some people, the novelty of GD being on tour has worn off. What we need is a music video to get people logging back onto this forum.

Or the photos from way back when, but I feel like I'm the only one that remembers that. :shy:

I almost wondering about Lyrics in "Basket case"

"I went to a Whore, He said" He?" I thought it was typo..Billie meant "she"

but then I listen to song "coming clean"(from Dookie)  about him coming out as Bisexual

and I thought that make sense..

I love how  billie put he/she in his most of lyrics..

Yeah there's an interview where he talked about how it says "he said my life's a bore so quit my whining cause it's bringing her down", he said something like it's because the gender doesn't matter. So more than just being about bisexuality it seems to be a statement about not fixating on gender, which is cool.

How come that at the US shows there are seats in the back of the arenas instead of regular standing? I mean, more people would fit in there if they were standing. :happyhands:

that is another thing,..(if it o.k to talk about this).

I am not bi or gay but I am annoyed..

how or why some of media and even so fan doesn't believed he is Bi..or they said it not real because he is married. It doesn't matter if he is. right?

I don't really know anyone who is bi but him.

I agree, it's silly when people try to deny what he's said or try to define his sexuality for him. What he feels inside for himself is all that matters.

Why does it matter? It's none of our business.

I was wondering about that too! It's so weird seeing pictures of concert halls with just... rows of chairs in the back? These people aren't gonna see shit anyways when people are standing and jumping in front of them:ermm: Someone said to me "I got floor seats" and initially I was like ?????

I don't know this for a fact, but I'm just going by what seems logical to me.  Each arena is going to have a limit on how many people they can legally put in the arena.  This would be for safety reasons based on the fire code.  So, my guess is that they sell the maximum amount of GA tickets they can, by law.  They just can't jam people in there, there is a limit.

Yeah, exactly. It's absolutely hopeless as far as a chance to see anything goes.

True, each venue must have some maximum capacity but it still seems weird to me. It's not usual to have seats on the floor at rock shows here.

I have never been to a concert here that did not have seats on the floor

:o It's the other way for me. Floor seats are exclusively a jazz/classical music thing here. This is a culture shock! :P

Poprocks & Coke is such a refreshing song to listen to. I can't explain why, it just is!
