Popular Post stories and songs
When I'm stressed out because of work or the general state of my country at the moment, Green Day is literally the only thing that makes some of that tension leave my body. I can leave work feeling like a hot mess and as soon as I get in the car and have some Green Day time, I'm so much happier and more relaxed.

Billie Joes Eyelids
Now that they're back in CA, does anyone think they'll attend the Grammy awards? Also I think there's a chance they'll be in the running to do the Super Bowl halftime show next year. They need to steer back to something more rock oriented after having Lady Gaga, GD will have just come off of an extremely successful tour, and I've seen them mentioned in discussions about who it will be. Yes, they're very political, but so is Gaga and she was a huge hit. In fact probably a lot of people watched it because they wanted to see if she would go political.
Popular Post RedundantIdiot
Dad reading a review of the Leeds concert Dad: it says in the review ''Green Day middle-aged punks''. How old are they? Me: 44 Dad: 44???? If they're 44 and people think they're middle-aged, how old do you think that makes me feel?
Popular Post DeJennsitized
This era made me fall back in love with Green Day hardcore. I've never not been a fan but looking back I can see I wasn't as into them during the trilogy era as I had been previously. In 2009 I skipped school to book tickets to see them, in 2013 I bought a ticket for Emirates AGES after they went on sale and I wasn't on GDC and the general excitement level was just below what i'd always had. This era however has been amazing, my love has come back big time, I love the album, I'm back here making dumb posts, and the two gigs I just went to were overwhelming and emotional and just kick ass. I just love this band and i love you guys and hey, I'm not even drunk making this post

All cities get the runway except Brisbane? I am aiming to stand on Mike's side at all four shows I'll be in GA for, but I'm also not sure about where exactly. Preferably right in the corner, no? I was really happy about being able to see them in 2013 and it was amazing, but I didn't even come on here to post about it and for some reason, I don't even remember much of that show now. However, when I found out about RevRad coming out, I went straight back on GDC and it has all come back Sometimes I feel like I've gone back in time to 2010, with making dumb posts here and having so much Green Day happiness
Beerjeezus
I noticed there's more and more of "Billie Joe is my dad" posts and I wonder what could be possibly more uncomfortable.

I remembered but took a while to find; people comment on their photos too, like "MY PARENTS" on Sara's latest of her and Tré, and she liked it I really do hope they just laugh about it in private. But yeah, don't get it. This is what I meant earlier about two worlds that shouldn't meet I almost feel intrusive just following Sara and Adrienne. Beerjeezus
I feel weird following Adrienne tbh. I followed her when she would post (hot) pictures of Billie. I might unfollow now. Also when people tag pictures of Billie #hebouttanut. I am BOTHERED.

It is really uncomfortable, I actually hate it lol. They always calls them Dad por "my father" and sometimes when they post a pic of them and their wives is "my mom and dad" ugh it's so weird.
