I've listened to them a lot recently and I feel that I need to stop now before I become sick of listening to them. I can see from my iTunes account that I've listened to Still Breathing 40 times on my IPod, and I've listened to it countless times through the music video and live videos! After tonight, the next time I hear a GD song will be a live performance of KYE two weeks on Sunday! If GD bring out a music video or live video I guess I'll have to watch it in silent mode. I really don't know how I will do this hiatus as I listen to GD almost every day but I'm determined to do this. I did that too. 21 days (from Christmas to 14th of January, 21 being a clear GD reference). The best thing: The exact moment when GD started to play Know Your Enemy, I felt like a flame was burning inside and I couldn't control myself from jumping. You'll feel so free. Fucking amazing. sherribomb
The idea of going on a Green Day fast seems interesting. I would do it, but come to think of it I haven't actually listened to any music for a long time. I kind of just always have songs in my head so it kind of feels like listening to it.
St. Jonny
I honestly don't get tired of it. I'm always constantly relating to the lyrics, especially during touring season. Need my daily GD dose everyday! Goes with the green!
bouncingoffthewallbja
Fashion Victim has been stuck in my head lately! It's so catchy and punchy, but at the same time, GD are literally telling a select clique of people to f-off and mind their own business
St. Jonny
Fashion Victim couldn't be greater! What a masterpiece! Could listen to that song multiple times a day. "Cloaked with style for pedophiles", what a genius line. Warning album has always been ridiculously underrated. Especially when it came out, everybody liked Minority but nobody but the true hardcore GD fans actually went and bought and enjoyed the rest of the album. I was the only kid in my class who was waiting for school to get out so I could go pick it up on release day. AHH, good ol' days!
RedundantIdiot
Noooooooooo! My GD hiatus didn't last long! I wanted to avoid listening to GD for the next fortnight leading up to the gig, but I heard Dad playing WMUWSE on the laptop earlier . At least I hadn't listened to GD by choice for all 20 hours that the hiatus lasted, so I'm going to restart the hiatus from now and hope Dad doesn't play any more GD. Update: Dad's now trying to find a video so that he can learn how to play WMUWSE.

No, someone inherits the guitar and plays the hell out of it.

21guns&novacaine
(Kinda GD related, but) It's a small detail, but I love that on Gilman's website, for the sizing of their shirts, it's titled 'dudes' instead of mens. So cool

Okay this is disturbing. This's been mentioned on two separate threads in the same day.
Popular Post Wretched & Divine
Mum gets in from work, and the first exchange we have goes like... Me: Green Day announced second shows in Melbourne and Sydney. Her: When are you buying tickets then? Me? Predictable? Nah. 😂
bouncingoffthewallbja
I was watching this live video of Don't Leave Me from 2015, and I think it'd be such a great song to represent 39/Smooth with on the tour (of course, Tré would be smashing it on the drums, even though John does a great job here!!)

It's a cute idea, years ago I used to do that, now I just dedicate to him cute posts on my FB and Instagram hehe
Popular Post Minority_GD
Every time I see gd live I always see people fangirling and screaming as soon as Billie looks in their general direction. I, however, always stand there thinking "Oh my god, look at him, he's so tiny! Look at his tiny legs!" When did I go from fangirling to cooing at them as if they're puppies?
St. Jonny
I've had the drum solo for Bang Bang stuck in my head all morning since I was laying in bed. Just keeps repeating over and over, didn't even rock the album yesterday. Keeps clicking in!

Im walking around the house singing "if this is what you call the good life" over & over - haven't listened to revrad for at least a week. Come to think of it I kept singing brutal love yesterday & it would be a year since I played that album🤔

I was the only kid in my class who was waiting for school to get out so I could go pick it up on release day. AHH, good ol' days! Dude, this was exactly me as well. I was in High School when Warning came out and Green Day was my favorite band by that point. I remember getting Warning the DAY that it came out also, and being so caught off guard when the album was so different from their earlier stuff. The acoustics, the cleaner guitar tones, the more upbeat and sort of hopeful melodies and lyrics... at first I was just kind of in a weird shock about it all, but it didn't take long for it to grow on me, and easily became the soundtrack to my last couple years in High School. I think Warning is my favorite record to this day. That album is perfect. The good ol' days indeed!
