End Of The World
Disliking GD just for political reasons is silly. I'd never do it. NEVER. Just my opinion though.

It's the most cringeworthy thing I've ever seen him do and if he does it at my show I'll die (it's a bit more acceptable with the chicken but when it's on his own it's unbearable) http://patatamulticolordernt.tumblr.com/post/155902703011/icantstandthepain-1132017-bologna-italy I'm OK with it this time because he had the chicken as an excuse. Before it was just him and he was being ridiculous. ( @Hermione we might very well be the only ones bothered by this, lol.)

Same but it indicates he's continuing it on this leg and that concerns me And lol I think you're right, but it's so bad . I literally feel less awkward watching him simulate masturbation. 37 minutes ago, Jake69 said: I get that disliking GD for their political views is silly but that AMA trump protest had no point to it. All it did was promote more hate and negativity in the world. I can get how some people may get annoyed by that. It was the opposite of that. Trump, KKK and fascism - three things that promote negativity and hate. It was anti negativity and hate.

stories and songs
@Jane Lannister No, it's not that bad. It's better than the club tour squeaky voice schtick. But I'm hoping it doesn't continue. Every tour he gets rid of one goofy habit and picks up a new one. I do prefer this to the masturbation thing, though.
End Of The World
When Billie Joe mixes the beauty of GD music with too much politics the result is something annoying. And boring at times.

I disagree. There's never too much political discourse. I definitely prefer it over dental discourse.

It is something I'm interested in so I like to hear their opinions but I can imagine it has to be a bore for someone who doesn't care.
unextraordinarygirl
I've watched a lot of Green Day videos and I've never heard him do that high squeaky voice before so I don't know what your talking about that he does it all the time. The voice with the chicken is funny. The whole masterbating on stage thing was awkward and very uncomfortable to watch. Very cringeworthy.

I liked the masturbation routine because it was deliberately and knowingly awkward, doing something taboo with a cheeky wink to tease and challenge the audience. But saying stuff in a high voice is just painfully unfunny . I've seen him doing it during Hitchin A Ride (example at 3:50) and King for a Day during the tour, and he's so into it he even brought it up and demonstrated it (in a toned down voice) during this interview at 9:20. Isn't a big deal or that different from other goofy stuff he's done on stage but I just dislike it
MaraGreenDay
I was on Facebook and the fanpage Green Day Rock 'n' Roll - Italy posted that this happen exactly 12 years ago!! And I just watched that interview with TRL and now I feel so nostalgic for the AI era cause even if that was when I became a fan, I didn't exactly followed everything they did during that era, even to this day I still found interviews that I've never seen or read. I wish I was more aware of everything they did back in those days like I do now. Anyway, I just miss this era so much, I mean, I love what's going on right now, but back in 2005 everything Green Day related felt so new to me Ok, I'm done lol.

These two songs work great played in full but when they drag them, they lose the momentum.
