But they really should be playing the old songs that have never had live debuts. I wonder if they don't like some of their older songs, or if they just don't work live, don't fit into a set list, etc. No One Knows is one that NEEDS some attention. It could be a great addition to the acoustic encore. Their current tour looks entertain enough. They are pulling songs from ALMOST all their albums. Needs a bit more 1039, Insomniac and the "set of three albums that shan't be named" but other than that.............great 2016 tour!

There is probably only one song off each Shan't Be Named album that I would actually like to hear live, so I'm okay with them not getting too much attention

Beerjeezus
I have a lot of admiration for people who were let down by revrad. I just don't have that much optimism in me. My expectations were so low, they really would have to use a lot more vocal reverb to disappoint me.

I didn't have much optimism until I heard Bang Bang, then hearing the other two singles took the optimism away again so I'm not sure how I still wound up disappointed

Alex Pinchevsky
Why hasn't Green Day played 21 Guns since 2010? Also, the setlists from the recent club tour are not the best in my opinion. I can understand that maybe they felt less slower songs fit a club setting, but they choose to play "Are We the Waiting" over 21 Guns and Wake Me Up When Sept Ends? Also, outside of Know Your Enemy, they didnt plat a thing of 21 CB...and most people believe that Know Your Enemy was not the best song on that album. I loved when they opened shows with 21 CB and I think the best setlist was on the last leg of the 21 CB Tour. They played old songs, new songs, and most shows lasted 3 hours. They've shortened the shows to 2hrs plus...but basically ignored anything they have written between American Idiot and Rev Rad. Hoping the area shows bring back a better mix without taking away all the old stuff. Love hearing 21 Guns Live and wouldnt mind them throwing in a few tracks (Nuclear Family, Stray Heart, Stay the Night) from the trilogy. I have been a fan since 1994 and will continue to go and enjoy the shows either way. Just hoping their set list selection didnt peak in 2010 and they are now going back to only older songs and playing half of American Idiot. Curious other opinions on this...especially from fans that are both "old school" & "new school" Green Day fans.

WhiteTim
Personally I'm glad 21 Guns is no longer played that means I won't have to hear it in March

I'm just wondering if they dropped it because Billie wouldn't hit the falsettos in 2013. His singing wasn't 100% on that tour.

What I'll say now is totally random and I hope it makes at least some sense: I think Troubled Times would sound great remixed, as a song The Young Gods would do or something like that.

Well I just hope the break before your tour commences gd band practice is about revrad in the setlist - it's a great album - they need to do it justice.

RougeRogue
So Jason Freese...solo album...this is apparently a thing and I never knew that. Was it ever released? Because I am very curious. I like some of his brother's stuff and Freese is my fave secondary band member so...
